Being a cyclist, the party I was with thought this would be a great excursion, and I must say I had a blast. They have a train pull a bunch of rail bikes along for a 20 minute scenic tour of the countryside. Didn’t get any photos or kiss something from the train? Don’t worry, you will be riding the rail bikes back. Great way to see a small part of The Korean countryside. Next time I will have to hike to the bridge.

It's a great experience. I totally felt that I went to mother nature's hands. It's huge. Here I experienced Rail park. It was so fun and interesting. First, we took a train to the rail park station and then ride back. The rail go throw some tunnels and each tunnel has its own theme that surprises the tourists. The rail is 6.5km long. We could admire the beauty of mountains and river while riding. The air is clean and I felt like my lung was refreshed.
Price: 48,000krw for 4 seats

I was here today, it costed 38000 won for a 2 person bike (meaning 19000 won each). It was a bit expensive but I was very fun.
First you take a train an then you come back with the bikes. It lasted 50min all in all. The way back is easy since it is mostly going down.

Decided to visit here as we had been on rail parks in other countries. You can have a 2 or 4 person bike and it is advisable to book ahead. A train takes you to the end of the line then you cycle back and it’s really easy. You get to see some nice scenery and local houses as you follow the river back, crossing a bridge and going through short tunnels.

It was an absolute blast! We took a taxi from Wonju city center here for about 15,000₩ Since the recommended bus (52) never appeared. The rail bike cost 12,000₩ per person for a four person bike. First, you take a train to the end of the line and then you choose your bike and ride back to the start. Most of the track is downhill so you barely have to even peddle it was so easy. The entire trip took about an hour and the views were stunning, I would highly recommend it to all my friends!

Afterwards, you’re super close to the new suspension bridge on top of the mountains (about a 10 min walk down the road) so I also recommend checking out the bridge while there and you can even swim in the river. It’s a great summer day trip and the area is being developed a ton!
