The Karimba ruins were excavated when the central street of the housing complex was being built, and many earthen pit graves and ornaments were unearthed. Such ruins are often backfilled after excavation, and roads, houses, fields, etc. are built on top of the ruins, but most of the ruins here are just open fields. You cannot enter the area on the west side of the central street of the housing complex, but you can enter the area on the east side. I entered from the north side, where Karimba Nature Park is, and came out from the south side, but I couldn't see anything that looked like a ruin. Since it's just an open field, I think it would make a good tourist facility if they excavated and developed part of it, and built an information center or something.
