Pros Its without a doubt a great place to see old historic buses, cars, bikes, trams. However in order for places like this to get established, it needs you the paying public to help & visit. I'd definitely go again, most certainly worth the visit....More

The fact this museum is entirely run by volunteers is the problem, no trianing, no knowledge of job roles. It is essentially a warehouse and garage you can walk around, learn nothing and the volunteers know nothing. A museum is supposed to be a ace...More

First impressions a little old school and amateurish as you enter to pay your £3 entrance free. The Director of the museum seemed a bit sarcastic and from other feedback given by him this supports that opinion. While I don't expect much for a low...More

Sorry that you didn't have a very good experience visiting the Museum; I'll take up the question of the attitude of the person you spoke to when you entered. Your experience also contrasts with the majority of the reviews on Trip Advisor, which are generally...More

Thanks for the review; the problem is that, in an unsuitable rented building, there is a limit to what we can do about the layout and organising - why not volunteer with us and make some suggestions? We'd always welcome more help! There is a...More

Nice little museum, could do with someone to talk you through or answer questions. We did speak to a volunteer mechanic, but a dedicated presenter on hand would have been better.More

Hello, Paul. Thank you for your review; I guess that you may have visited on Saturday, when the two volunteers (including myself) who would normally have been around to answer questions had to go out with one of the vehicles to a local promotion. I...More
