An ancient site with an interesting modern history too. Recently re-erected as a stone circle but surrounded by the 'Recycling Centre' so not quite as awe inspiring as I had hope. Having said that, it is still an impressive site and worth a visit.

I'm torn between liking that this is pretty much a secret and hating that it is actual archaeology and then destroyed and then reconstructed. You need to walk into a landfill site to get there and there's that horrific sulphur smell or some similar odious...More
