Этот православный храм в небольшом частном доме по ул. Комарова 43 был создан инициативной группой верующих для совершения служб по выходным дням и церковным праздникам. Этот объект для обычных туристов - гостей города не представляет интереса, неподалеку по ул. Комарова 58 расположен красивый храм Николая Чудотворца, выполненный в классическом русском стиле.

Георгий Победоносец - покровитель и защитник воинов, а также защитник животных. Поэтому такой храм нужен в каждом городе, даже если он совсем маленький.
