Paul the Apostle and Barnabas visited this city on Pauls first journey.
This ancient city is not much visited by tourist, mainly religious groups are visiting this city.
But this city has a big history, one reason why not many people visiting this ancient city is that the city is very far.
But when you have time the visit the ancient city and the small city Yalvac.

Pisidia was established in the 3rd century BC by Seleucians. Up until today, the city hosted Hellens, Romans, Byzantines, Seljukians, and Ottomans. The recent name of the town is Yalvac which is especially famous for the production of the aromatic plants such as rose and lavenders. In terms of Christians, Pisidia is an important settlement where Saint Paul gave his first preach. In terms of civilization history lovers, Pisidia is important to reflect typical features of the Roman settlements such as bath and aqueducts.

The Antioch of Pisidia is one very cool Roman city that has been uncovered and is now an open working archaeological dig and museum. You pay to get in and roam freely around the site. It is outlined by the city wall and you see the outlines of the buildings, etc. You can see the great theater, and the worn city streets with 2000 year old wagon wheel indentations in the stone. You will see how the Romans built the city water and sewer systems. From what I am told, the site is the home of the first church building ever recorded in human history. This is a must see site and dress for it.

Bayram dolayısıyla ucretsizdi. Fakat diğer zamanlarda bankolar var. Sanırım ücret alınır. Maximum kart geçerli diye biliyorum.
