Lavender is harvested in August & in full bloom during June & July, which are the best months to visit the village of Kuyucak. It's a 2.5 hour drive from Antalya city. There are many shops in the village selling lavender products like soaps, perfumes, coasters, oil, hair wreathes, creams, etc. I bought a bunch of soaps which smelt divine.
We can park cars near the street & enter the fields, no need to seek permission from owners. There were honeybees all around the lavender flowers, but they did not chase or bother us. The owners have placed lovely props in the fields like swing, door, cycle, heart, etc. for visitors to take photos with. if you are visiting the village in other months, you will only see green bushes.
It would be a long drive to see just the fields as there aren't other touristic places nearby. But for those who are heading towards Pamukkale, this village is a good pitstop.

I visited kuyucak village in Isparta province in Turkey last week .The whole village was full of visitors like me. There are many lavenders fields but all are not so close to each other. Therefore, I had many chances to explore the taste of lavenders in different places in this village. There were lots of things to buy for personal use or gifts in many little shops in the village, such as flowers, perfume, soups, oil, accessories, coffee, tea, ice cream...etc..They are not expensive such as a bunch of lavender flowers cost is 15 TL, Hand made Chain is 20 TL, Soups 5 TL ~ 10 TL, Perfume 15 TL ~ 50 TL, Oil 10 TL ...etc...and of course there are lots of lovely decorations in the lavender fields for photos' shooting in every fields plus you could able to ride camel in the fields as well. It cost 15 TL for a rid. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the village too. I did Really enjoy here! I will be right back here.

We made a 4 hour drive from Alanya to see it. Wel, not to see but to make pics, tons of pics at the lavanda fields. Youwould probably expect that lavanda fields are only in France? Wrong, here it comes, the Village of Kuyucak with lavanda fields and lots of spots to make pics with those beautiful flowers. Also the bouquets are available as well as ice cream with lavanda. I would guess that they must have everything with lavanda and also a credit card terminal even in the field kiosk ;) nice job, gentlemen!
Also, I would suggest leaving a car on the entrance to the village and have like 20 minutes walk to the fields in odredr to enjoy the scenery: mountains, fields and the skies. Completely worth. I wouldalso suggest hiring a pro photographer - to make a good couple pics. A nice bonus: we have seen about 60 village goats climbing up and down the rocks, a-maz-ing!
Extra bonus: the village itself, a roural Turkish agricultural village with its architecture - an experience to have

The Village of Kuyucak is located in Keciborlu as a district of Isparta. For more than a decade, farmers have been encouraged to grow up aromatic plants such as lavender in the Village of Kuyucak as well as other villages nearby Kuyucak. Especially in the last weeks of July, you can visit to the Village of Kuyucak for lavender harvesting. You can also make a lunch break at the village/town square to taste the local culinary staff such as gozleme, ayran, green bean, soup, ice cream with lavender and rose. If you wish you can also buy some local products such as lavender/rose soaps, lavender pillows, face creams.

The weekend before, as a group of 23 people, we had a tour around this province and last stop of our culture tour was at this village, highly promoted recently for its lavender fields and lavender themed activities.
Being a lavender lover, I had huge expectations from this village but hélas, it was a big disappointment to me. In case I had not such high expectations, maybe this visit would please me as a visit to a simple, rustic village but I was thinking of a "aix-en-provence" kind of a place whereas the reality was just a dusty village, with relatively small lavender fields and kitsch souvenirs.
To be fair, the attempts to turn this village into a touristic destination started just a year ago and expecting too much too early out of it is a bit unfair.
The things you can do here: taking photographs in the fields; buying lavender, soaps, eau de cologne, lavender oil; drinking lavender tea (just boiled water and 3 straws of lavender in a paper cup) and tasting lavender ice cream (this one is good). It's written that there are hiking and biking trails around but we did not see them nor any instructions related to them.

Hi, I'll be visiting Turkey next year June. I. Would. Pike to add this village into my trip. May I know if there is a local culture tour for this trip to the lavender village?
Written December 16, 2019
The best time to visit to the lavender village is July. There are many local tour agencies doing this tour as day trip including Salda Lake. It's amazing! Don't miss it!
