Great time spent with the elephants. I did the ride, brush down, and feeding... Ride is short but photos great. Trainers and guides are welcoming and took tons of photos for me. It was heavy on the interaction, and most of the elephants were fairly tame as raised from babies. Tour and supplied information was limited, but guide able to... More

Family or three visited recently, and enjoyed the experience. The elephants seem well looked after and the handlers treat and know them well. This is a tourist interaction, so you get to touch the elephants, and ride on them for a an extra fee. It's fairly expensive if you opt for the ride and the interaction, but if you like... More

I took my visiting friend to the Elephant Sanctuary to experience the Elephant and the Bush Babies Tour. We went on a Thursday morning, and it was very quite. We were supposed to go on the tour with a family of 5; however, they did not show up, so we had a private tour. There is an educational part of... More

This is a short and to the point review. Whether you are a couple or family looking for fun activities in the Harties area, the Elephant Sanctuary is a absolute must. You get to touch, walk, feed and even ride the elephants. Whether you are a local or international this place is a must visit.

It is highly recommended for family; kids would love it. The tour leader is knowledgeable, very interactive which makes it even more excited. You can be so close to the elephants: you can ride, brush, walk, touch and feeds them.

Guides knew what they were talking about. Great interaction. Loved it. Well organised. Educational. Book both the Bush Babies tour & The Elephant tour together. If you are not afraid of heights have a quick ride.

It is possible to feed, to ride to touch or to walk with the elephants. You learn a lot about the elephant. You will meet here people from all over the world. You are in groups up to 20, but it works well. The program duration is about 1.5 - 2 hours. I think for south Africa 695- for the... More

A magical place to interact with the elephants. It is a bit expensive but as a treat for someone who loves elephants it was an amazing experience to be able to touch and ride an elephant. The experience was fantastic.
