Our guide was knowledgeable and funny! Very interesting few hours learning about the monkey sanctuary and a wonderful walk through the enclosure!

My friend and I went on a feeding time tour and it was the most amazing experience! Definitely one of the highlights of my entire trip. I loved all the cheeky monkeys, the walk was great, and the staff were friendly. Definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend.

Our third visit…
The monkeys are beautiful and playful but something is changed. I’m not saying about the fees, which are absolutely normal to be increased with a 10-15%, but as we chose the option with feeding the monkeys, I was disappointed to see the food container less than half, compared with my last visit. One one detail, there was no mangos from monkeys, but a big plantation in front of the reception. New management?

We did the tour with feeding option and had great fun.
On entering the monkeys immediately came to us touch us and jumped onto everybody and were very curious.
Then we received a bucket with lots of food and every monkey wanted it's share.
It could have been some information about the monkeys or other animals which are living at the sanctuary and also a warning about the walk over the suspension bridges.
Instead it was always a follow me, come come by our guide, so not enough time for us with the monkeys. Thats what we paid for, not to be chased up a mountain for the view.
I presume it had to do because of a group behind us, but then let the guest who don't feed go ahead of the feeding group.

To see the Meerkats we had to ask for them and what Bush Babies???

I brought a group here. We enjoyed it and of course the guides were wonderful. My only critique is they told us we could take as many pictures as we wanted (never say that to photographers unless you mean it). They rushed us through the sanctuary a bit. I would have liked to stay and take a few more pictures since there was no group behind us waiting. And even if there was, they could stagger the groups a bit and allow people to spend more time taking pictures. Or offer a time where photographers can go to take pictures. I would prefer they offered a win/win, show a little creativity and allow people with cameras to spend a little longer with the monkeys even if they charged extra for the extra time spent.

Such an amazing experience! The sanctuary is big and open, the keeper gave us food to feed to the monkeys and I’ve never seen so many in my life. All different kinds too, such capuchins, a spider monkey and squirrel monkeys. Then he took us on a nice walk around the sanctuary and we even saw wild baboons in the distance. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’ll remember for a long while.

I reside in Mozambique and I have fostered a Vervet Monkey and I have 2 wild Samango Monkeys that visit me daily. I decided to take my brother to the feeding session at 12h00. It was an amazing experience. It was pouring down with rain, but we enjoyed every moment of the experience. The monkeys come right up to you - jump on you and help themselves to your food basket. Not once did we feel threatened or unsafe. It was absolutely amazing and an unforgettable experience. I have a fear of heights and could not walk across the 2nd bridge, but the guide kindly assisted us to walk back and wait for the rest of the group. I really appreciated that and we still had so many monkeys to ourselves whilst waiting. The monkeys are well taken care for and they have a huge enclosure to roam free. The only dissapointing aspect is that I ordered and Paid for the 2 DVD's (Links to be emailed to me - Elephant and Monkey) and it has been 5 days and I have not received anything. Everyday I phone, I am told it has been sent, or it is 80% and I will receive it by the end of the day - 5 days later still nothing. I am really dissapointed in the service - if you say the same day then make sure it is the same day or just say within 7 days. I don't know if I will receive the links - everytime I phone - I have to use my roaming costs. Besides the bad service of the reception regarding the DVD links, the experience is top notch and I will be back with my husband in May 2022 so that he can also have some "Animal Therapy". Please send me my LINKS!!!

That can be called a sanctuary. The monkeys are free and happy, not like the poor working elephants next door.
