I was at Praia dos Carneiros, there is no free access to the coast so you can only visit the beach/church. The beach is completely privatized, which is absurd since in Brazil no one can “buy” a beach, but at any access you have to pay and the prices vary between 20 and 30 reais. At the “famous” Bora Bora tent, you pay 30.00 per person to stay at tables with wooden benches, which is very uncomfortable if you are going to spend the whole day. There are more comfortable bungalows in this restaurant and in this space you pay 200.00 per person.
There are no tables on the sand, they are all located in the structure of the restaurant.
The natural pools are really beautiful, but it's not worth the cost because Porto de Galinhas also has the same thing.
For me and my family it wasn't worth the trip, we went with a baby so we couldn't even walk from the restaurant to the church to see it.

It is very beautiful but they have monetized almost everything there too much, to access the beaches we had to access it through a BeachClub (Bora Bora), for which there is a dayUse charge (including parking). We took the nautical tour, passing through Ponta da Areia or Banco de Areia de Guadalupe, then we went to what was said to be a "clay bath" on Argila beach and then the famous little church.
About the "clay bath", the way it was said, I imagined that it was a beach made up of strips of land containing clay, and that I would have access to this clay and could take it, pass it, hit others and have fun, I don't know. ...but no lol I thought it was pretty fake. At the edge of the beach there are people with buckets full of clay, they rub this clay on you for free (white, red and black) and then show you products made with this clay, soaps, and other things that I don't remember. In other words, you will not pick up clay at any time, unless you buy the products. It could be clearer about how it works!
The little church is very pretty, but it's too 'instagrammable' a point, people line up to take photos, they crowd in front of it, they make fun of the staff lol We chose to stay there and walk back to the BeachClub (20 min walk +- ), after a while the trips there stopped, and the little church was ours alone! They even opened their doors for us to get to know them.

We stayed in Porto de Galinhas and took a day to visit Praia de Carneiros and, honestly, you have to evaluate whether it's worth it. The beach is beautiful, that's a fact, but tourists are abused from start to finish. Firstly the distance, about 2 hours from Porto de Galinhas and the road is very bad, especially in Tamandaré, the municipality where Praia de Carneiros is located. The so-called support points are bars that have closed the beach. That's right, you need to pay to access the beach. We went to Bora Bora which charges 30 reais per person and the 30 reais are not converted into consumption, in addition, you cannot enter with any bags of food (coolers, thermal bags are prohibited) and there is a very rude security guard at the entrance. When accessing the beach there are people from smaller tents who are following you to stay with them. At Bora Bora you could even get a table and the 600ml bottled beer was R$18.90, reasonable even, despite us having to pay to enter.
Anyway, we took good photos, but the kids didn't like them. Muro Alto Beach is much better.

The beach is very beautiful, several beach clubs, clean and calm water, but there is dirt on the beach close to bora bora! But what's worth it is the night and afternoon to Vila de Padre Arlindo, it's about 5km from the entrance to the city, there are about 30 small restaurants in a small village, including rides and children's toys, sweets and local food!!! Accessible place with great prices, octopus at R$50 per dish, crab, shrimp, pizza, Japanese, wine! A must-go place!!

Beautiful and delicious beach. Little infrastructure on site and they charge for access without reverting to consummation. I thought it was an exploit!!!!! I don't recommend it and in our case, we chose to stay on the beach in the shade of the coconut trees, which was delicious.

Region simply fantastic, we stay in bora bora, R$30.00 per person to have access to the structure, but we do not like the service, in front of the club is the natural swimming pools in the low tide. On the beach we met the Ricardo (tb known as MaceiĂł) boatman of the region and we made the boat tour with him and his son, took us to the church, clay bath, sandbank, and the natural pools(all this without rushing us).. Recommend the boat or boat ride, because it is more private, the catamaran goes many people becomes impossible to take pictures alone.

They practically privatized the beach. They have installed day use and hotels, and it is possible to see the beach just by paying. Next to the church there is a parking lot that doesn't allow you to enter on foot, not even to see the beach. Just paying R$30.00 to see the beach. Absurd. It doesn't work for me.

The beach is very beautiful and has peaceful natural pools for children.
I took the catamaran tour, but it wasn't great. The sandbar isn't very nice. There you have to pay to take a photo on the swing or buy it from a Bora Bora photographer. You can only enter the church with clothes on, so come prepared and you have to leave a contribution (any amount). The clay part is also reasonable. The tour is worth it, but don't expect great things.
The beach really is beautiful.

Very beautiful beach with several natural pools and hot water. Like most beaches in the region, natural pools are subject to tides. Fantastic for children. The only complaint is the commotion and confusion that arises in front of the Bora Bora restaurant due to the embarkation and disembarkation of catamarans and speedboats. Loud music and confusion of people.

In 17 days tour of the beaches of the Northeast, going from JoĂŁo Pessoa to AracajĂş, Carneiros was one of the biggest disappointments. If you think Beach is a public space, Forget! The most famous part of the beach you only access PAYING... private clubs and condo settled on the beach, closing all accesses, and to enter only paying Dayuse, paying parking, paying to breathe, paying to eat, paying Pro bathroom, paying to go to church. I went to the FREE part of the beach which is 4km by the sand. They claim you can access the beach without paying for the sand... unless the tide goes up all the time.
