Mrs. B's Country Candy is proud to be located in Brighton, Ontario, near Presqu'ile Provincial Park on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Nestled among the apple orchards and maple sugar bushes, we know country living and we know country goodness - especially the kind Grandma used to make. Our products are different because they are made the old fashioned way, hand-made on-site one batch at a time to ensure quality and freshness. We use no salt or preservatives. Only the finest available ingredients are used to make our candy. Combining these quality ingredients with our own mixing and cooking techniques produces richer, smoother, and creamier treats. Our products are also available at many other locations including; General Brock's Commissary - Kingston, Ontario; The Nooks - Port Hope, Ontario; and seasonal at Empire Cheese & Butter Co-op - Campbellford, Ontario; Gourmet Diem - Belleville, Ontario; Local Family Farms - Verona, Ontario; Rosie Yumski's Fine Foods - Westport, Ontario

People are very welcoming! Buuut..I found the chocolate waxy and not worth the money. I paid $3.99 for a “peanut butter filled chocolate” w peanut butter cream..there was no peanut butter and I didn’t taste peanut butter at all. We’ll try it again tho bc I really liked the people!

A smorgasbord of quality eats jammed into a delightful shop! The owner of the store guided us through the myriad of unique chocolate products and dozens of shapes and sizes…..each tastier than the previous one. A must visit while travelling to Brighton.

Located right downtown on the main street at the street light, this shop is a place to visit if you have a sweet tooth. On a hot day, a good selection of ice cream or gelato awaits. On any other day, you will be able to partake in the great chocolate selection. Nice little discovery.

Nobody should be disappointed in the quality of the chocolate. They are innovative in the designs and outcomes of their experiments to provide something different.

For the chocolate lover, Mrs. B's is heaven! She has all sorts of truffles and chocolate, peanut brittle and many delicious homemade ice creams. Also, ices.

We live near Brighton but had not been in. So we decided it was time to try it out. Lots of different chocolates and a good selection of Ice cream and Gelato

Summer at Mrs. B's means hand-made batches of gelato with usually half a dozen or more different flavours each day. Five minute drive from Presqu'ile Provincial Park.
Service is so gracious and generous. They have no problem cramming three different flavours into one little cup, if you wish, plus a chocolate on top!
Watch for the mandarin orange, blood orange, raspberry, strawberry, lemon, lime...they are all amazing and taste exactly like the fruit they represent. Tangy, serious flavour in every bite.
This location has fantastic candy and chocolate and EXCEPTIONALLY good turkish delight in a wide variety of amazing flavours including lemon, tangerine and raspberry.

I always look forward to walking in the door here,there homeade chocolate is the best I have ever had,and I am always walking out with an ice cream cone also.This store is not good for my waistline but sometimes you just have to live.

Gotta stop by this adorable candy shop while in town! The smell alone with put you in an amazing mood! So much variety! Love the chocolate licorice...so fresh! Smiley, friendly service. Will be back again!

This is advertised as a candy shop, when in reality it’s an ice cream and gelato shop. Very tiny candy/chocolate section. I was so looking forward to visiting a true chocolate shop and was sadly disappointed. They should change the name to Mrs. b’s ice cream shop.

Roxanne... I am sorry that you were disappointed with your visit to our shop. The majority of our shop is chocolate and candy with Ice Cream and our own handmade Gelato in the summer. There is a window where our customers can watch the chocolatiers at work during the week. We try to make sure each customer has a good experience when they visit. Was there something you were looking for that you couldn't find?? We have a great selection of product, but we are a small town so we don't stock hundreds of each item.
