VIP: Mt Fuji Private Tour with Sengen Shrine Visit from Tokyo

7 reviews
Be mesmerized by the beguiling beauty of Mt Fuji on a private tour from Tokyo. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, venture to the majestic mountain to capture photographs of its snow-sprinkled peak and then visit a sacred Shinto shrine famous for housing Konohanasakuya-hime, a deity of Mt Fuji. Afterward, you will ascend to the 5th station, a look out point referred to as the border before heaven and earth. Absorb panoramic vistas of the surroundings then enjoy some cultural authenticity with a traditional Japanese lunch.

Small artificial lake, nestied in the mountain. Nice trail going along the trail, perfect for a nice stroll, run it bike ride alone or with family. There is also a campsite right by the lake on grass, but no shade (summer sun is really hard). FYI you can rent bikes in site

It is a nice quiet place with spectacular view of lake, and Mount Fuji. We travelled by bus after Fuji run trip to this place. I saw a few people doing fishing. Must be a good life being around that area.

This place was so peaceful. On arrival the bus driver said we could enter the hotel and enjoy the view from there. Outside there is a viewing platform where you can see Fuji's reflection. After that we walked around the lake. On the way we started up the walking trail, but as the scenery was consistently just pine forest so turned back to the lake. Came across the camping ground and was surprised how many people were camping there in the middle of winter. Planning to try it next summer. The bus comes every 2 hours and that was just enough time to enjoy the lake. If you want to spend more time you can rent fishing gear.
