A little after 9 o'clock, on the way from Fuji City to my friend's house in the direction of Fujinomiya Shimurayama, I visited Murayama Shrine. This year, agricultural products and fruits are better than last year. I am grateful for the bountiful harvest. The weather was a little cold in the morning, but it is warm and comfortable during the day.

Murayama shrine used to be a very busy area where many pilgrims would start their ascent of Mount Fuji. These days the shrine is empty and almost forgotten. We only stumbled upon the shrine through seeing the symbol for a shrine on Google maps while driving past, and it was a great place to stop. We didn't see a single other person here and were able to explore the shrine and surrounding area at our leisure.
