My family and I rented a pedalo from these guys yesterday. €15 for 45 minutes but they said that we could take an hour if we wanted as they weren't too busy. Very friendly, provided drinking water and gave the girls a gift at the end. Would highly recommend as a great way to spend an hour and see Argostoli from a different perspective. The bonus was getting close to the turtles as well.

We were traveling by cruise and had a stop here. We took out an electric boat with our two young children. It was the highlight of our day. The lagoon was beautiful. The girls got to drive the boat and we spotted lots of turtles. The whole experience was so relaxing and fun. The staff were really helpful. Such a pretty island completely underrated. Highly recommend!

This well run operation offers friendly advice and assistance in ensuring that all family members of all ages have a good time. We took our 3 and 6 year old grandchildren in July and they still talk about it! It’s also a unique ‘what to do’ for Dad and the kids while Mum discovers the pleasures of shopping in the Lithostroto which is a 5 minute walk away 😉

This lovely lagoon is at the Southern end of the island. It is lined with dozens of restaurants, bars and coffee shops on one side, from which you can see tree-covered hills on the other, criss-crossed with clear, zig-zag yellow ribbons of roads. The little town runs parallel to the lagoon behind the strip of little eateries. But if you feel like a walk in the evening, at the end of the shops, the road opens to a wide square, with even more restaurants. Argostoli is unpretentious and - in September - is reclaimed by the locals, though the odd cruise ship still stops now and then. Life is slow. The sun shines. A trip on the ferry took only 10 minutes and cost about the same as a cup of coffee. I've not rated it Excellent because it may not suit those seeking danger or excitement. Have we lost some of the beauty of Life in a frantic search for 'meaningful employment' and suitable monetary reward? You could so easily slip into the peaceful rhythm of Argostoli and it would sooth your soul.

Took the electric boat out to try and see more Loggerheads. It was very peaceful and quite fun. Great little excursion especially for the money!
