Overview
More
Cephalonia Botanica presents many of the plants of the Ionian flora in a natural setting with a delightful stream runing though the center. Formerly a neglected olive grove, the garden is an initiative of the Focas-Cosmetatos Foundation. Today it is a place dedicated to the display and conservation of the native flora, also a place of tranquility and relaxation. The ticket price includes admission to the Focas-Cosmetatos Collection next to the main square in Argostoli.

Smallish, informal and focussed exclusively on local trees and plants. Nice for an hours wander and some respite from the sun. We loved the natural pool and the herb gardens arranged around an ancient olive tree. Not the best gardens in the world and clearly...More
