Probably the only must see and worth to visit at the area of Argostoli port. An old stone bridge which is accessible only for people and bicycles. Is a very beautiful sightseing where you can have a walk and take amazing photos on good days regarding the weather or good nights.

An easy 2km walk to the other side and back. Stop for lunch or dinner at Aristofanis restaurant or coffee in cafe on other side.

A historic bridge that takes about 15mins to cross. Nice memorial halfway over. Nice bars and restaurants close by

I have been coming to Kefalonia my whole life, as my mother is from there. There was a long time where this bridge was closed and I was so thrilled to see that a few years ago it finally opened up for the public. It is a beautiful walk from Argostoli Harbor to the other side of the lagoon. It is such a gorgeous walk, especially at sunset. I loved walking and seeing the skyline of Argostoli slowly light up.
Since I am Greek, I cannot really tell you about the morning walks that my American friends and family raved about! I think at any time visiting this bridge is a must!

Really unusual bridge which separates a lagoon off from Argostoli harbour. Walking across gives a completely different perspective of the town, and you may be lucky enough to see some turtles! Just by the Argostoli end of the bridge is a hire place where you can rent pedalos, electric boats or hydro bikes. A lovely eco-friendly excursion!

An interesting walk along this causeway. Fun to watch the turtles happily swimming and doing their thing.

Realy unusual attraction, bridge built in 1813. by the British over the Koutavos laggon,,over the 688 m long.I also read somewhere that it is 900 meters long, just to say.(When it is hot outside, like it was when we were there for the first time,we tought that it is 3 kilometers long!!!!)We recommend walking early in the morning and in the evening. In the morning is the best walk.
In 1842. the bridge was converted into a pedestrian area and it is now a beautiful place to watch turtles(if you were lucky..we saw a big one,for just one moment). The bridge survived a devastating earthquake 1953. which was fascinating because the earthquake devastated the city and the entire island.
You have here boats, pedal boats, guides for rent ,and the price is about 20 e for half an hour for a turtle sightseeing tour.
Nice experience,a must have hat,no natural shade..In the morning the best!

Always after dinner, stroll by the sea and all the way to the other side of the sea lake of Koutavos. A couple of years ago perfectly restored and now stands a beauty.
