Awful overpriced in humane place. So over priced for what it is. And an inhuman place, they keep penguins in a tiny Plastic enclosure with no day light and a tiny pool it’s cruel. Wouldn’t have gone if I’d known. Don’t go there!!

Hello, Thank you for expressing your concerns about the living conditions of our penguins. We, SEA LIFE Paris Val d'Europe and its team of biologists are very concerned about the animals environments and their living conditions. It is strictly forbidden by law in France to keep species for which we cannot offer the highest levels of care. The penguins island was designed by experts in marine biology and in collaboration with specialist veterinarians to ensure that our ponds are adapted to the size and volume of species per pond. While the daylight hours enjoyed by our penguins may be artificially created, they brighten the lives of our birds to a much greater extent than the natural daylight their wild cousins experience. The Antarctic is in perpetual darkness for six months of each year, and though the sun never sets in the summer months…it never rises very far above the horizon, creating a sort of perpetual twilight. The biggest population of Gentoo penguins is located on the Falkland Islands where conditions are not quite so severe, but even here the sun rises an average of just 38 degrees above the horizon. Happily, our penguins do not have to endure the harshest Antarctic conditions, and with less need to conserve energy they adapt very readily to a less extreme daylight cycle. Should you wish to discuss this further with our team of specialists, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us by private message we will answer to all you remarks or questions. Lily, quality service, SEA LIFE Paris Val D'Europe.

Decent selection of things to do with a low price tag. Would recommend for anyone with young children. Only took us about an hour to get around but it was fairly inexpensive.

Hello TripAdvisor, We visited Disney Park from Iraq, which was great, and we discovered the SeaLife Center. Rokkane at the reception was polite and smiling, it's nice to see that in France. The young man Fabrice with the beard was a real science show and he knew a lot about fish, it's great. It's nice to see people like them, keep going

Ok to while away an hour, although boldly advertised as penguins there..after 2 hours no sign of any penguins..no adverts or notices were around to say..when and where they were being fed! So the children were very disappointed with this.!!!AT a cost of 45euros for 1adult/2children it wasnt very good value!!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write your comment. We are sorry to read that you visit was not as good as you expected. To respect the well being of our penguins, seasons are reproduced exactly the same in the penguin display. Indeed, during winter time, the daylight in the subantarctic islands arrives around 3.30pm. Well observe, you can still see them in the darkness resting. We still wish that you visit us again shortly, many animations are still to discover in 2020. That will be the chance to take a better look at our penguins. Best Regards, Lily, quality service, SEA LIFE Paris Val D'Europe.
