I have never been to Peggy's Cove before. Well worth the visit. A fishing village that stayed a fishing village and didn't allow big business to move in and destroy the serenity and beauty of the area. If you get to Halifax a must see.

Take the time to visit Peggy's Cove Lighthouse and make sure to hear the story of Peggy and what she brought to this beautiful seaside attraction. Visit the stone sculptures, and then walk over to the lighthouse and back. Check into the little gift store...More

The wind was cold but Peggy's Cove was absolutely breathtaking! We browsed at the little stores and found so many souvenirs at very reasonably prices. We also visited the memorial of the Swissair Flight 111. Very melancholy experience.

We arrived at a time that every tour bus from Halifax also arrived in the middle of the afternoon. Although it was very crowded with tourists from one of the last cruise ships of the fall season and other individual tourists, it still was a...More

We clearly went at the wrong time - after telling my husband "we must see Peggy's cove", when we got there there was almost nowhere to park - people were parking out on the highway and walking in. We wanted to go to the restaurant...More

I’ve never heard of this legend. It would have to be a Mic Mac legend but not one I’m familiar with.
