São Lourenço Beach is wonderful. Quiet place, clean waters.
Show stays all day.
It doesn't offer many options for those who aren't staying in the surrounding area, such as chairs and umbrellas, but I saw a lot of people with umbrellas and private chairs, so there's no problem.
Some kiosks offer the option of renting a chair with an umbrella at an average cost of R$100.00. In some places it is possible to park without the Zona Verde, which costs R$30.00 for 6 hours. Very worth the visit.

I ve never seen this place crowded or noisy at all. Most of people here are families or couples joining the beach having a fun time. Surfers may find good waves here and have a good session. Most service provided here belongs to the buildings and its owners so buying something here may be a little dificult. Great beach.

It is not the most spectacular beach in São Paulo or Brazil but well organized, clean, great service and safety. It is a very nice place to relax and see the São Paulo coast

It is a beautiful urban beach (great sand space and clean water) with calm waters (although there are waves so its never boring). Perfect for children, teens and grannys. You can carry your own food and drink (In coolers) from where you are Staying or buy from traillers or walking-by sellers.

Every apartment building has their own beach service (they take the tents and chairs in and out the beach so you Don’t have to) and Also their own beach spot.

I rented a two bedroom apartment With a great view for my family (party of 5) and it was recently renovated. We just needed to cross the street! I really loved it!

We spent a weekend in Riviera and there where we had fun activities like surfing and trekking to an island they have about 30 minutes away.
Great place for the kids to hang out.

This beach is apt for entertainment. It is excellent for sports as well as calmer activities such as sunbathing. I do not recommend going to this beach during brazilian holidays because it tends to get very full and crowded. It is a clean beach but has lots of activity and vendors. If one is not staying in a place with beach service it is very hard to find a spot to settle. The beach has mountains covered in green on either side which makes it very nice. During some days the tide is high and people are squished together. The sand in the beach is very hard so for those who like walking a lot I recommend that you bring shoes.

Beautiful place, but lately crowded, rude people with speakers, leaving all kinds of dirt in the place, the streets of the condominium have rotating parking for R$30.00 for 6 hours, the prices at kiosks and street vendors are double For the price, it was better.

For those who have never been and have doubts, the Riviera de São Lourenço is a neighborhood surrounded in Bertioga, but it is not closed, the entrance is free, without the need for registration in the portaria as in the closed condominiums.
The luxurious neighborhood has the sector of houses and buildings, these are the ones that are closest to the beach. Before the portaria we find restaurants, shops, gas station and supermarket. Inside there are shops, clubs, restaurants, a small shop and even school.
For those who are not staying in one of the buildings of the Riviera, the access to the beach is at the end of the streets, where there are also several parking spaces. It is possible to rent a tent or sunshine and chairs with some walkers, but the value is high. If you go by car, I recommend bringing your own items.
For those who are staying or are residents of the buildings, there is usually a path between the buildings that leads to the beach and there are the umbrellas of each condominium available ONLY for the guests / residents.
There are several barracks by the beach, but the value is usually twice the other beaches of Bertioga.
When I went, the beach was crowded, hard to find where for the sunshine, mainly because the floors and tents of the condominiums are all placed in the sand, even empty. It does not usually have loud sound and is a safe and well family environment.
The sand is very clean, gray and fine and the sea agitated, but not brave. There's life-saving every 200 meters.
I find it overestimated because, virtually next door is Indaiá, which is a much quieter beach and equally good and safe, and with much more nature. Besides that all the beaches of Bertioga are good and safe, some more busy and popular, others more family and quiet.
The Riviera is often the summer meeting point of the rich families of São Paulo, so the fame.

No beach clubs or even tents with bathroom and tables and chairs. The existing wardrobes and chairs are from the beach services of the buildings. There are almost no restaurants. If you don't have a house or don't rent, go just to spend the day, there are better and more beautiful beaches with more structure. There is purposefully no incentive to welcome the "One Day Tourists". The points in favor are safety, urban beauty, the absence of overcrowding and its negative effects (lack of water, lack of shelter on the beach, congestion....), large supermarket (PDA), easy access....
