Wow what a fantastic thing to do! We are from Australia and have nothing like this at all so was the perfect thing for us to try. Loved it so much, even the hubby's loved it! Highly recommend it! ; )

We visited first thing in the morning to avoid the heat and the crowds. It turned out to be the best way to experience Hells Gate. We did the mud pools and sulfer spa and had the space to ourselves for much of our visit....More

We paid $170 for entry to the sulphar spa and mud bath with towel hire. We were only allowed 20 mins in the mud bath in a small pool that was crammed with other visitors. Then we washed the mud off and sat in the...More

This place doesn't really feel like earth. A very otherworldly experience that is worth doing before going to view the Wai-O-Tapu thermal wonderland (which is bigger and more colorful). Mud bath was something different and unique but not necessary. Skin felt really soft after... Though...More

My wife and I had a really good experience visiting this venue. The staff are friendly. We met one of the guys walking around the site and had a long conversation about the hot water and mud. The lady helping with the wood carving gave...More

Decent tour included in entry price. Enough of interest for an hour or so. Easy to get around with kids/older family members. We booked mud pools/spa also which was worth the extra cash. Again nothing too fancy but this place is probably trying less hard...More
