We golfed here twice on our recent trip to Daytona Beach. We like it because its only a few miles from our condo & its a fairly easy course for us to golf. 13 holes, no golf carts. Great value too. I definitely recommend going there if you like to go golfing.

We golfed here while in Daytona Beach with our daughter & her husband. Its a 13 round course with no golf carts. If you didn't bring your clubs, you can rent them at a reasonable price, along with a pull cart. But its a beautiful walk and the course is in fantastic shape. Lots of pretty palm trees with Intercoastal views on about half the course. Will definitely go there again next year.

The course always is in great shape, and the layout is easy to walk. A couple of holes are REALLY short (about 45 yds), but other than those the distances are perfect for working your short game and just enjoying a quick round, without leaving the beachside.

What you need to know before showing up - everyone needs their own clubs and bag - but they will lend you a bag (free) - you can rent clubs and carts. This is a walking only course. I played the whole course with a 5 iron and a putter (and I am far from a great golfer). If you hit your ball in the bushes be aware there is wildlife (snakes). After all of that I have to tell you this is the most fun I have had on a golf course in a long time. The greens are in wonderful shape, fairways are good and the entire course is well maintained. It cost us $23 for two to golf including 2 carts. We have gone once and plan on two or three more time this trip (weather permitting). And the pro-shop staff are wonderful and welcoming.

We first played this cute little course about a month and ago and liked it so much we decided to join. Oceans West is a fabulous layout for fine tuning your short game. The longest hole is 135 yards, and the shortest is 41 yards (from the men's tees). Some fairways are narrow, but you can't get in much trouble on a short course. None of the holes are positioned adjacent to another - everything is laid out in a large oval surrounding condos. There are no water or sand hazards - just a few hilly greens to keep you on your toes. The course is well maintained and nicely landscaped. Play is walking only - no motorized carts. Each player must have his own golf bag. You can rent pull carts for $2 per round if needed. Off-season fees for non-members are $14, and guests of members can play for $9. After 5:00 pm, play is members only. The clubhouse closes at 5. You can play 13 holes in 75-90 minutes, depending on traffic. If you play late, sprinklers will create a new hazard at 6:30. There is no restaurant or pub in the clubhouse.
