They close the beach gate due to Covid, so you could not see it closely but the statue is big enough allows you can take pictures from the deck that located top of the statue.

I really like this thing. It's a pretty area at sunset with the Ferris wheel and the giant breaking forth from the sand. There are several unusual sculptures in the area, including a naked fat man on a turtle.

I had never heard of this sculpture before I visited but it was quite impressive! We had lots of fun getting photos and just walking around at the harbor.

Best time to see is at high tide, you can take pictures on or near it at low tide. There is no charge to get to the artwork.
