So the art work is incredible and there seems to be a lot of lifelike artwork in National Harbor. It's cool to see and a conversation starter but not sure I would just go there to see it. You truly can't miss it if you are staying at the Harbor.

I really like this thing. It's a pretty area at sunset with the Ferris wheel and the giant breaking forth from the sand. There are several unusual sculptures in the area, including a naked fat man on a turtle.

Was looking forward to seeing this piece of art when visiting here, and this...along with a lot of the artwork at national harbor....was a hit. My teenage daughters found it pretty cool, reminded them of grounds for sculpture. Zeus was impressive...lol. The fact you can pose and take pics with the statues are always fun for selfie enthusiasts like my family

This sculpture was sited for many years on a point of land in East Potomac Park. As you drove up to the site the figure appeared to rise dramatically from the earth, reaching for the sky, or slowly receeding into the depths. The setting provided a great opportunity to experience the work in a variety of ways. The current setting, in a sand box, at the National Harbor, is possibly the worst possible placement of the dramatic work.

This place has this very comical sculpture. Very expensive eating places. I do not recommend at all.

This sculpture will be one of MANY things to photograph on this waterfront. I do recommend the a walk along the pier. And we did enjoy the Capital (Ferris) Wheel...

We happened along this quite unexpectedly and found it very interesting. It’s hard to get pictures as kids love climbing on it. Be sure to check it out!

Best time to see is at high tide, you can take pictures on or near it at low tide. There is no charge to get to the artwork.

This piece, together with other paintings and sculptures all over National Harbor, made our visit interesting, memorable and yes, Instagrammable! A little difficult to get a good shot of The Awakening at night though.

Well, here it is, just some sculptured body parts sticking up out f the ground. It used to be, for many years, in West Potomac Park, where it had surprise value (and may have helped to cause a few traffic accidents.) Now you know it's there and you just wander over and look at it. Or, if you're a kid, climb on it. Or stand around and watch and listen to other people's reactions.
