Nice attraction with boardwalk and skywheel. Make sure to check out the harbor front movie schedule and the water taxi to Old Alexandria.

We came here to check out a potential wedding venue. Parking is ample, but ridiculously pricey. Lots of chains--restaurants and stores. Many great Stewart Johnson statues to explore and enjoy.

Thinking about bringing a large group by water taxi from Alexandria (15 adults / 20 8th graders) to ride the ferris wheel and have a casual dinner. Would you recommend this? Is it a safe area - is there a family friendly atmosphere? Thanks in advance!
