Great little castle. Beautiful structure and furnishings inside. Guided tour with kind staff. Willing to answer any questions. We did see a small wedding while there.

We visited Lauenstein Castle with our children rather spontaneously after a long hike along the Lauenstein Fairy Tale Trail. At the request of our history-loving son, we decided to book the second-to-last tour of the day. Unfortunately, the tour was a disappointment. The older tour guide ran through the tour in a very monotonous manner, like a robot. The children were not taken into account. Without the knowledge of the flyers that were displayed everywhere, we would not have been able to classify the information in the tour. The tour guide showed us more or less the same thing in every room (doors and ceilings). Our tour was actually not worth the money and time.
