I was a bit apprehensive to visit South Sudan. But, after spending almost 3 days in Juba, I can safely say that it was one of the most fun, insightful and thrilling experiences of my life.
I saw Bomahills through their forum. I contacted David, and he was easy to talk to, customized the itinerary according to my interests, and whose prices are very reasonable. He knows his way around the city, has a lot of friends and knows how to keep his guests safe.
It made me appreciate just how beautiful the country is, and David's tour in particular motivated me to come back. And the South Sudanese, almost everyone I met was genuine and kind. If you're ever in Africa, make a stop here in Juba. You won't regret it.

BomaHills Tourism really made my experience in Sudan unique, special and adventurous. David and his team were wonderful and we were well taken care of. We were always safe, ate great food and got to learn about all these amazing tribal cultures. I recommend BomaHills Tourism as one of the top company to book if you want to have an amazing and authentic experience in South Sudan.

I was in Juba for a couple of days and am happy to recommend David and Boma Tours. Within 48 hours of arriving in South Sudan, you must get registered with an ‘alien certificate’ and David is able to support you with that process. Boma also offers a range of single and multi-day tours. I only had time to do the city tour of Juba. David explains the history and contemporary context of the place well. The trip includes both interesting historical sites, local businesses of interest. Trips outside of Juba require planning prior to arrival as some trips require permits to be arranged. Had I had more time, I would have been interested in some multi-day hikes. After my experience today, I would trust David and Boma Tours to arrange everything required. Thanks for a great trip and all your help!

I spent 2 weeks in South Sudan, visiting half a dozen tribes. The trip was perfectly organized by David, and led by Nyang. Very good cars and camping equipment, wonderful food and most importantly the skill to prepare each visit with a different tribe in a very diligent manner made this an unforgettable journey. I cannot recommend David and Nyang highly enough.
As so many countries, South Sudan lags behind in terms of plastic waste. If you want to travel responsibly, ask David to buy big 5 Gallon water containers for the trip which are easily available in Juba, and regularly refill you personal water bottle.

We had limited time in Juba so booked a two day/one night trip with Boma Hills to visit the Mundari tribe. David is very responsive and also fluent in English so we had no issues at all. His crew (driver, cook and guide) did an excellent job and my only regret is not having enough time to do a longer trip.

When I began researching tour operators for South Sudan, a country that is notoriously difficult with tourism, I received several recommendations for BomaHills. So I decided to go with them and I’m so glad I did. Everything was handled professionally and reliably, from pre-trip communication to the actual tour itself. David and his team have built a great company for tourism in South Sudan in a place where there is really no infrastructure. We were able to get a Juba city tour and camp with the Mundari and Dinka tribes. Vehicle was a 4x4 with A/C, camping tents with mattress, and delicious healthy food with a private chef that came along.

I can highly recommend David and his crew as your guide in South Sudan. We planned quite difficult itenerary, visiting states north of Juba, Sudd Swamps and Dinka village.
There was a lot of difficult logistics to be made and Bomahills made everything looking so easy.
Permits were organized upfront, transport, boat, etc. so we didn’t waste a single hour on waiting.
All in all, we had fantastic experience!

I just came back from an epic trip to South Sudan. The service provided by David and his team from Boma hills met my expectations and even exceeded thanks to his team very well lead by Patrick, the local guide. He introduced genuinely into real daily life of the three tribes I visited: Lotuko, Dinka and Mundari. The driver Aziz and cook Johnson were very attentive and professional to make sure any aspect of the trip was going well. A big thank to Patrick wh brilliantly coordinated the activities and working hard to make sure I had an unforgettable experience. Thank you guys!

BomaHills is a reliable Tour Company that I can highly recommend. They delivered smooth and prompt communication and were a great help with getting the eVisa. They will give you a letter of invitation and act as your sponsor/guarantor, needed to apply successfully for it.
My short trip to South Sudan, 3 days, 2 nights, was organized by them succesfully from start to end.
South Sudan is a quiet, pleasant country to travel, people are friendly and modest, I had no bad experiences at all. A boat tour on the Nile and visiting the Mundari tribe I did like the best. South Sudan, for sure, deserves more tourists

I recently did a 3-day trip to South Sudan with BomaHills Tourism, visiting the Mundari people’s village and cattle camp—an incredibly unique and authentic experience. The owner, David, is highly professional and provided excellent advice on everything related to the country. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future to witness the animal migration in the national parks with him. If you're looking for a truly immersive experience in South Sudan, I highly recommend BomaHills Tourism.
