Starting on Anchorage beach, which you reach by taxi boat, the track is not too difficult and allows one to have magnificent views over the several beaches along the coastline, some of which you can actually go to. Pictures may speak louder than words in...More

The sights from the track are worth the sore feet at the end of the day. Wilsons organised everything for us, from taking our packs to the next stop to preparing the meals at the stop. Their beds at the stops are great.

Go in the morning for less traffic. We walked the portion of the track from Torrent Bay to Bark Bay, in that direction. You cross the suspension bridge, a highlight of the track. It's a lovely, shady walk punctuated by ocean views.

Water taxi options to shorten the trip and options to camp or stay in lodge were wonderful. We enjoyed kayaking and hiking and tidal crossings. Wonderful time.
