About
The pub in Congleton, Cheshire has become one of the most popular pubs in Congleton. Due to its reputation for Real Ale, warm atmosphere, dedicated staff and excellent location. Situated just a stones throw from the heart of Congleton Town Centre and Congleton Bus Station and with ample parking at the rear, The Lord Mountbatten is a great meeting point for both locals and those from farther afield

Pub 11 of the day. Still going strong. Place to come for banter with locals and good ale. Pool table for those inclined. Decent seating and large tables DIF bigger groups. Well kept range of micros on offer.

I have visited the Lord Mountbatten a few times over the last few years, and each time gets more and more interesting.... this is very much your typical real Ale local mans pub, with various characters who frequent...........you have a famous plumber who doesn't know how to do Plumbing, a Cider Pig as his assistant, many football fans who have never been to a game.....................and then the Landlord !!! I'm sure whoever issued Mike his License went to the Stevie Wonder School of Landlordship. All in all a very enjoyable experience each visit, as long as you can hear yourself think over Barnett and Co.
