Absolutely not to be missed. The house and gardens are spectacular but the real gems are the family members who show you around. Full history, warts and all, followed by tea and cake. Really good value for money. You will love it.

Thanks so much for this nice review. I am so glad that the environment here enhanced your workshop and that you enjoyed the over night stay as well - in spite of the bathroom sharing!

Eight of us stayed at this hotel for the weekend, whilst others joined us in the day time for a training weekend. This is history in the making. The hotel is steeped in family and period history. Overlook the cobwebs and be fascinated with the...More

Thank you for taking time to write your review. We enjoyed hosting your Workshop this past weekend. We are definitely not a hotel! Stradey Castle is a private home which, very occasionally, offers accommodation to groups of visitors. The last time we did this was...More

Thankyou for writing this review and we’re glad you found your visit to Stradey worthwhile. Being called a ‘Castle’ is something of a mixed blessing because we are, of course, a large Victorian House with an imposing, crenellated tower
