We have all been to the large breathtaking monuments of religiosity. This church is one of the most elegant and honestly captivating places I have experienced. Definitely worth a look at its beauty and the history behind its creation .

As with a lot of churches in Italy they are only open for short periods of time; so I awaited with anticipation to view the Basilica. It did not disappoint; such a feeling of calm and a nice church in this quaint town.

The steps leading towards the entrance are the best part of the visit. Inside is good wrought iron work, one of the products from this village.

Il parroco, visto l'afflusso notevole fi turisti, e la ricchezza delle sculture ivi conservate, dovrebbe stampare dei cartellini esplicativi. Cioè parliamo di una chiesa ad esempio, che conserva la scultura lignea più antica d'Abruzzo, della Madonna bizantina col Bambino. Occorre provvedere

La basilica è spettacolare, ma occorrono delle spiegazioni storico artistiche stampate su carta. Di certo non tutti sanno che la chiesa posdiede tesiru come il capoellone di Ferdinando Fuga, gli intagli ligmei di Giambattista Gamba e la tela della Madonna dell'incendio di Tanzio da Varallo. Valorizzate, tanto si tratta di semplice carta da stampare
