With so many interesting Churches so close to the centre this has been restored but little remains of the 15th Century original mainly the Bell tower. Very impressive painting of St Peter.

The Cathedral of San Pietro has beautiful mosaics on the outside of the church. Inside it's stunning, a beautiful altar, painted ceilings and wonderful stained glass windows.

There is a feeling of peace and tranquillity here in the cathedral of this hilltop town.
Take time to sit and take stock of life before venturing out again into the outside world.

A great cathedral. Lovely painted ceilings and an impressive alter. Small chapels surround the outer walls. Impressive paintings on the outside of the front of the cathedral which can be easily missed if you walk too closely to the building when finding the entrance to the side.

This cathedral is a brilliant example of the mixture of pure gothic and baroque. It is a gret haven of coolnes and tranquilitty in this busy and vibrant little town. Well worth a few minutes of reflection to visit.
