George runs a great little bar only open after 9 and serving excellent cocktails to the loud sound of heavy rock.

We stayed 4 days in Palekastro and we returned every evening at the Sticky Minds Bar to enjoy.
If you like rock music and blues (the less known stuff... nothing commercial here!), this is the place to be... such a great music and most of the songs played on vinyls!
The beer variety is good, you can find also some local beers, the cocktail are wonderful as well: classical stuff or own creations. Anything we tried was excellent, or let him choose for you the best cocktail,you won't be disapointed.
You can enjoy your drink outside on the yard covered of mulberry trees, or have excellent conversations about music with the host George (also owner of Sunrise Apartments in Palekastro)... but we always prefer the second option ;)
This bar will not fit everyone's taste, but we definitely recommend for a visit if you like good rock music and quality drinks... or you can certainly find any touristic bar in the surroundings, they're all the same, anyway.

If you are at the town of Palekastro you must drink a cocktail at the Sticky Minds bar because the cocktails are so good. George the owner and host makes it an work of art to prepare the right cocktail for you. Some of the ingredients are from his own garden, like the fruit and the lemons. He also makes very good non-alcoholic cocktails. We had such a nice evening!

We stayed three days at Palekastro. No one would expect in a place like this to find such a cocktail bar. The first evening we went for a beer and then tried Mochito - surprisingly good. Georgios, the owner, is like magician when he swings around in the bar mixing cocktails. We returned the next evening and the evening thereafter. Anything we tried was superb. The last evening Georgios knew already what we desire, so Gin Fizz, Godfather Sour, Manhattan were clearly the highlights. we tried each others drink, but I had to get a double Godfather Sour - the real man cocktail as Georgios reffers to it.
Definitely recommended for a visit in the evening if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

If you like rock music, esp. the less known stuff, this is the place to go.
The cocktails are wonderful as well: Not those everyday soups of bad booze poured into lots of juice to hide the taste - but you'll get the classical stuff here, as it should be.
The beer variety is also good.
This bar will not fit everyone's taste, but those who like it will love it!

A cornucopia of music with excellent 🍸 and conversation with George. Simply the best in Crete. In the village of Palekastro near Vai beach and Sitia town. Well worth a visit to enjoy old classics under neath the mulberry trees and play a game of chess or backgammon

Great Rock Music, outstanding cocktails and the owner is the perfect host. I felt in love with the shots. Classic stuff like Irish Flag or own creations like the "Tiramisu". Good place for Kids as well. They will love the non alcoholic drinks made of fresh fruits.

Hard to find this excellent bar at 50m away from the center of Palekastro but maybe the best bar in palekastro!
the owner is a hug fan of early rock / hard rock and a hug fan of cocktail!

If Someone wants to enjoy a place with CLASSIC ROCK AND BLUES MUSIC, IS THE BEST THAT EXISTS IN CRETE. Owner is excellent about music. DRINKS ARE GREAT from the most simple until the most complicated cocktail. Alone or with friends you will have UNFORGETTABLE NIGHTS.
