I expected it would be a nice beach with less people but wasn’t so. It’s very steep road down to the beach and a steep walk from the parking. There is amazing view on the way down but there were more than expected people also playing beach volleyball and other game. Had more of a party feel. Pebbles and clear water. Nice location but don’t expect it not to be busy.

This beach is beautiful! The sand/pebble beach is such a nice place to be, and the water is clear as anything! The only problem is the number of steps to get to and from the beach. It's a real trek! You'll be out of breath as it's roughly a ten-minute steep descent from the car park to the waterfront. But, if you're willing to make the sacrifice, it's a real find and I would highly recommend it!

Rovinia Beach is very close to the Village of Liapades and is quite accessible, as opposed to other beaches on the island. There are two ways to get to this beach, either by hiking through an olive grove or through the village and on a road. I recommend using a GPS if you want to get here. Also, you should know that you will have to leave the car quite far from the beach and hike the rest of the way.

Being a secluded and small beach you won't find any shops, restaurants, or toilets here. However, a boat will come to the beach regularly and sell beverages and snacks (around 2 euros for a beer).

The water here is great and if you want to scuba dive you'll love it here, as there's a lot of fish near the rocks.

All in all, I would say that this beach is pretty great.

There are many beachside sports being played here by men who stare rudely at single female sunbathers. The walk down to the beach is steep.

Recommended to us as a "secret" beach....well wow, it must be the worst kept secret in Corfu! The setting is stunning; crystal clear turquoise water and sun bleached white pebbles and coarse sand. I hadn't realised that the house built by Emma Tennant's parents overlooks this little cove and how stunning must it have been when constructed back in the 60s.

No facilities other than a little boat that drops anchor at certain times and sells drinks and ice creams at amazingly reasonable prices considering the captive audience it serves.

But, and it's a big "but", the place is heaving in high season. Absolutely rammed...and (cards on the table here - I'm no little Englander - quite the opposite) cultural differences make a difference. No uptight British reserve here from our Southern European friends.Just plonk your beach towel within touching distance of a neighbour and do the following in any order of your choice:

1) Smoke. Constantly.
2) Have animated mobile phone conversations at high volume.
3) Shout at your children.
4) Smoke some more.

What should be a place of quiet relaxation is quite the opposite.
I'm sure it is a little piece of heaven at quieter times of the year, but for those of us with set holiday weeks in the summer, perhaps one to avoid.

Such a lovely quiet beach. Short walk from liapades. Theres a boat that comes round and sells refreshments.. Crystal clear water. Only issue can be the selfish boats who park in the middle of it!

Ideal for families, the water deepens gradually and is pristine. Bring a beach towel, picnic and parasol as you can safely spend hours here absorbing its beauty, a must see if in the area.

Soft sand beach with gentle slope into the sea; wide variety of water based activities available for very reasonable prices; the sea is a stunning blue and really clean and warm enough for even the least adventurous; a variety of restaurants around the whole beach area; free changing and showering facilities just off beach; local small boat tours available at 10 euros to visit local sea caves etc. plenty of parking and shopping to meet most needs. wonderful 2 days spent there

from the parking place there is access by foot at the end there are stairs, nice adventure. I was disturbed by too many people, some were drunk, the water smelled of sunscreen, more than a clear sign that there is too much of an invasion of tourists
