Lovely place for a cool drink or a snack. Great views during daytime and lovely setting at night. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Cheap enough too. If you are in Pleokastritsa pop in for a bite to eat or a cool drink and a chat. Will definitely be back next year again.

Once we found this place, we returned after dinner each evening. It’s owned/run by a British family who are so friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed sitting on one of the simply but comfortably furnished terraces, listening to the mellow, modern music they played whilst we drank beer and the most gorgeous margaritas. Thank you – you really helped make our holiday special. It’s not the most obvious bar in Paleo; if you want to go there, it’s a few buildings along from Nausika, on the same side, as you head down the hill towards Paleo’s main beach, next door to a car hire place.

We are currently sat in the Pergola cafe bar enjoying a nice cold beer and some lunch. This place is so cute and has a wonderful view. The owners are English and Greek and they really do know how to make you feel welcome. The food is really delicious and soooo cheap! I feel like a thief paying so little, €3 for a Greek salad and €4 for club sandwich and chips!!! We will definitely be returning over the next 2 weeks to sample some more wonderful food and the delicious cocktails.

I feel guilty. We were in Corfu in June and said we would review the Pergola when we got home but have only just got round to it. It is a really lovely, welcoming place. The home-made cakes were delicious and we really enjoyed chatting to the pleasant English lady who runs it ... who if she reads this and remembers us, the book that Jocelyn was recommending about an Albanian woman in London was Antigone & Me by Kate Clanchy.
So if you are in Paleokastritsa then most definitely have a drink in the Pergola

We were staying next door at the Paleo Inn and on the first morning mixed breakfast as we had got to the hotel at 4am, so overslept. Saw this place and wandered in, in a sleepy state. We had the best coffee with a snack breakfast, which was very good and excellent value.

Just as we were leaving another couple came in who were obviously regulars as the very nice owner asked "coffee and cake?" to which they nodded.

Later on in our holiday I fancied a good coffee as the coffee served at the Paleo is not! We popped in again to the Pergola after dinner, the view is lovely, the decoration simple and the owner's daughter absolutely charming, so this time we tried the 'coffee and cake'. This was delicious and excellent value. Coffee and cake is 2 euros, this was served in a cafetiere, when we both ordered it and held nearly 3 cups, so 2 slices of cake and 3 cups of coffee for 4 euros, we soon became regulars! Delicious!

Very efficient, friendly service - we came for a snack and some coffee, and we got free cake! Great view and a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for an afternoon coffee or a sun-downer.

The family that run this bar are absolute gems. Dropped in for lunch during the day and got a perfect Greek salad, delightful conversation with mum (not your average Essex girl) and one of the best views ever. Went back one evening to find both of the sons (English/Greek parents) to be top lads. The bar was quiet - like everywhere else in Paleo at the start of the season - but the setting, service, ambiance and the décor made it just perfect for chilling. There is a pool table in the outside area and sufficient room inside if you wanted to dance a little. I am sure the lads could put some appropriate music on. We were there as a couple. It would be ideal for groups of couples or friends.

Lovely views and really friendly staff. My wife had a nice chat with the owners about the lovely jasmine flowers on the way in. Probably our favourite spot for a drink in the evenings.
