About
A chance to explore the beautiful North-East coastline. Be your own captain and visit some of the many small beaches not reached by car. All our boats are fully equipped with life jackets, comfortable cushions and sun canopies (children`s life jackets are also available). We also offer large cool boxes for your food and drink. Your safety is our priority and full instructions are given for each boat. Our boats vary in size and speed, from 25 hp to 60hp, 2stroke or 4 stroke. No driving license needed. Spiros Boat Hire is the oldest boat hire in the area and our experience is your guarantee for a super day out! [IMPORTANT NOTE] Make sure that you look out for the SPIROS BOAT HIRE sign, because there is one more boat hire in the area which is not us. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

This was the second year we have visited Corfu and rented boats but our first time of using Spiros Boat Hire. We rented two boats for 3 days and could not fault the service. Spiros and his family are very friendly and professional. Communication was very easy and they were extremely reliable and competitively priced. We would highly recommend Spiros Boat Hire and will not hesitate to use them again the next time we're in Corfu, as seeing the coastline by boat and stopping off at the tavernas and beaches for a swim along the way, really is our favorite thing to do! Thank you Spiros and George for a brilliant experience :-)

Highly recommend this boat hire - £95 euros & petrol for an idyllic day exploring the NE coast of the Island. We enjoyed it so much that we had about to see the West Coast as well and I have to say the east coast was much more interesting with the opportunity to stop at multiple tavernas including the famous Durrell White House. The east coast is flatter and easier to manoeuvre the boat around than the west too. This is a family business, this year is Covid year so all safety precautions in place. Really nice extra touches like a cool box with proper cool packs, personalised recommendations of where to stop and excellent follow up from George. Highly recommended

We hired ‘Madonna’ for the day €100 plus €15 for fuel- recommend booking as this was last boat available 2days in advance!
Easy to drive - clear instructions and supplied with a cool box to fill with your own drinks and away.
Loads of secluded bays for snorkelling and swims to the beach and rocks with several restaurants dotted along the coast to pull up to for lunch.
The bay with 3 restaurants are actually quite ‘posh’ ! We had lunch in the middle one - fairly expensive but was worth it !
Great day out and happily recommended.

Spiros boat hire is the only way to discover the coast up from Barbati. Spiros and George are fantastic; helpful, accommodating and friendly.

From the point of booking through to contacting them to confirm the day could go ahead / where we could travel to, they were great. On the day, they’re welcoming and make you feel comfortable in how to use the boat and where to go. Maps and cool box provided by them.

85 euros for a normal boat or 100 euros for a slightly better one was a great deal, especially as that was from 0900-1700. It cost around 25-30 euros for our fuel but that was racing around as much as possible between anchoring in bays, another couple only spent 12 euros!

I couldn’t fault the experience. George was excellent in explaining the use of the boat, Spiros was a gent and the route up the coast beautiful with plenty of spots to stop to swim, then a great lunch at Nicholas’ Tavern.

I wouldn’t visit Barbati without taking a trip on a boat from these guys.

My two children and I hired a boat from this friendly and professional family service. I spoke to them a number of times before leaving England and they explained everything in detail to me and agreed to book me a boat, which I actually changed the date of and they were happy with. It is by far the best day of our holiday, a whole day exploring the coast and coves. We stayed in Agni for a wonderful meal before heading back down the coast for 5pm. They also lent us a cool box and dry bag for our things. Great value and speaking to others in the hotel cheaper and better boats then the other boat hire place further up the beach. All round excellent service and lovely family hopefully be back soon to hire again

Spyros was a great chap - professional, helpful and clear - telling us where we could boat, where and how to stop at jetties and where to eat. His son George was a most charming chap (who speaks English better than many native speakers) who gave us an overview of how the boat works, the safety features and how to get the most from our day at sea. Both men gave advice about where to boat and which bays to visit. Overall, we were hugely impressed by this family business. They are a must visit - and their prices are so competitive.

Great boat & great instruction!! Had the best day so much to do. Spiros & his son were great and showed us everything quickly and made sure we knew everything to set us on our way. Even better the fuel calculation was very reasonable & they waited till after we had dinner to take us home (which they absolutely didn't need to).
10/10 would recommend & they couldn't be nice we people!!!!

Had an amazing day out on one of the boats from Spiros with my husband and 8 year old daughter. Was so nice to swim in some of the coves around the north of the island and visit a lovely restaurant at the top of Corfu (I think the place is something Ag Stepanos?!)

George and team are so lovely- so helpful and informative. They clearly have a lot of knowledge about boats and we were grateful for George spending the time to explain how to drive the boat properly before we went off on our own.

We booked in advance via Facebook and they kept us informed of time, location etc. We also got a lift back to our hotel at the end of the day which was really nice of them and not expected.

Really good value. 100 euros for the boat (far cheaper than other boat companies in the area) and I think we only spent 15 euros on fuel. But note we didn’t stop much as we were a bit scared of mooring too often- my husband drives erratically (lol).

We would definitely use again if we came back to Barbati.

Spiros and George are amazing and so are their boats. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, cannot thank them enough. Hiring one of their boats was the best idea we made. They were so helpful and explained all instructions clearly. They supplied us with a coolbox, which was a bonus. George was really helpful when communicating information about hiring their boats and cost. We had an amazing day on the sea and touring the coast. A must do when visiting Corfu!

This was the absolute highlight of our holiday! We had some choppy water on the day we were due to hire our boat, George messaged us first thing in the morning to check whether we still wanted to go ahead on this day, very good of him to check with us. As it turned out we loved the slightly choppy sea.

George took the time to go through how the boat works, maps on where to go etc. It meant we felt totally comfortable by the time we set off.
We took our boat up towards Kassiopi, stopped and swam to the Durrell's White House in Kalami, and stopped for lunch at Nikolas Taverna Agni which was lovely. We used our boat from 9:30-3:30ish (our choice to go back early as it started raining), and the fuel cost us 14 Euros - how could you complain about that?!

Excellent service from start to finish, would really really recommend! If we find ourselves in Corfu again this will be a definite.
