This Beach stretches along the northeastern coast for about 1 kilometre. It has Verde Blu Bar and restaurant towards one end and Bahía Mare at the other. There are a number of other tavernas/restaurants in between.

From the Beach there were amazing views across to Albania, Greece, Corfu Town, its Fortress's and along the coast towards Dasia and the mountains behind.

It is a flat pebbled beach with crystal clear water. The water gets deep rather quickly so makes getting in to the sea a speedy affair. Initially it is stoney getting into the sea but soon turns to sand. Would recommend wearing rubber soled shoes when getting into the sea.

There were sunbeds and umbrellas for hire along the beach outside the tavernas, €10 for 2 beds and an umbrella seemed to be the norm.

There were two boat rental/jet ski places Emilio's and Spiros as well as Barbati Water Sports.

Our favourite spot along the Beach was between Emilo's Boat Hire and Riviera Barbati Beach Taverna in front of the wall of the large disused gardens.

Rather windy at times, a warm wind from the mountains behind the beach, so things needed to be weighted down with pebbles. One day in the space of about an hour we saw three inflatables take off into the sea and never returned.

Beach massages, women and men walked the beach offering their services.

The Doughnut Man, also walked up and down selling rather large doughnuts for €2. He was also selling fruit, mainly bananas, slightly inflated price.

There were Beach sellers flogging watches, sunglasses and tablecloths, they were no trouble.

We spent many happy hours here during our holidays. We were staying in Riviera Barbati Seaside Apartments, about 200 metres walk away.

We spent most of our holiday on Barbati beach as we were staying nearby. It's a pebble beach with some fixed beds that you pay for but also space for those who bring their own mats etc. The water is crystal clear with a few fish swimming in the shallow waters (but not much to see when snorkelling). The only issues are the motorized boats (there are two jetties) and the thumping base music from one or two tavernas. You can escape the music if you stay in the centre of the beach but the fact that Bahia Mare Hotel keeps playing the same loud music all day long is just unacceptable.

Me and my partner hired a buggy to further explore this fantastic little island and we decided to explore barbati beach. The place is stunning, filled with little bar and restaurants, shops and the usual collection of souvenir shops. The beach is not hard to find by quad/ scooter/buggy/ car and most local travel firms will also take you there for a fee but you can to get there by your own means ( hiring a vehicle of some sort) as the views to be had are spectacular ( obviously as a driver you cannot always see them but there is some little stop off points or impromptu viewing points along the way) . Unfortunately the beach was stoned/shingle in nature but you could still walk along and go in and out the many beach bars whilst wearing your sandals. As usual the staff in the bars all adhered to social distancing protocols and from what we seen there was hand gel to be had on entering these places and face coverings worn. Parking is the main issue as it’s a small coastal town and the car park attendants ( yes attendants) are placed in small parking areas normally attached to the bar/ restaurant on the beach and will ask and seek proof of purchase ( keep your receipt from buying your drink or food ) Which is not a major hassle but always good to know. Even to stop for 20-30 minutes to relax chill and people watch in a different area helps break up the day ( not that we were bored or need the day broke up) and provide some light entertainment.

Stunning beach in Corfu.
Plenty of sun loungers and bars/restaurants.
We hired a quality boat from Spiros boat hire.
€40 for 2 hours
We hired twice and stayed out the full two hours on both occasions and the Fuel cost was €10.. Spiros is the one with the bigger jetty on the beach.
Have a wonderful time people

Barbati beach took some time to find until you realise that the hotels and bars on the beach seem to provide car parking. The sunbeds are provided by the restaurants and are pretty much the same price as elsewhere. The beach can get busy but the sunbeds are well spread out and its a long beach. Lovely swimming, take your beach shoes for the pebbles!!

Pebbly but clear blue sea ,lovely beachside restaurant offering tasty reasonably priced food. We also paid £50 euros jet ski and boat trips were also available for around £75 euros.
But of a challenging walk down but worth the effort, weather was brilliant for a oct break.

Standard Greek beach, with sun lounger hire. Good service from the beach bar.
The water is beautiful and clear and the bottom slopes away quite quickly.
Lifeguards and showers all provided

Stayed here with my family and had the best time. The staff make this hotel. Nothing is to much trouble and so accommodating and helpful.
Food was excellent, but very slow process for breakfast, sun beds very comfy. Shop handy for treats and branded drink. Hotel also let us have late check out which was really appreciated has there was 7 of us. Only downfall was the drinks at bar awful. So we ended up down beach bar every day. Bar staff were excellent. What to say a big thank you and we will certainly be back again. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful beach. Quiet, crystal clear waters. Incredible cocktail bar on the beach. We swam in the sea and watched fish swim around our feet. So relaxing. We miss this beach!

Fantastic boat hire from Emilios and his sons. Lovely, clean, modern boats and just enough tuition to send you safely on your way. Highly recommend.
