Closed whilst we were there. As our apartment overlooked the ruins, we could see they had been doing some work but nothing of any grear interest uncovered. perhaps next year?

When the excavation are complete this will be well worth a visit. You can get to view the site if you go round the back and down past some appartments, but it is not signposted

Just strolling along Prom ansaw sign near open gate in wall. Roman remains well preserved , even small patches of Mosaic. Definitely worth a visit.

As other reviewers have commented this small area of remains is just off the sea front and there is no other information provided Worth a five minute look.

This site is just as it was found, only just rescued by local foresight from being built over. To archaeologists, it appears to be the Hypocaust of a small villa, rather than fish tanks, as when built, the sea level and actual shore would have...More

Interesting little site showing the remains of the Roman spa and fish salting tanks that date back to the 5th (?) century, but it's a pity that the information board is no longer there to provide the details. It's great that the historic finds have...More
