My kind of beach, rarely too busy, great sandcastle sand and a few bars and restaurants, nearby... What more do you need? Sandy to the west and nice rocky, snorkelling area to the east, make it attractive to me.

A wonderful week in a lovely relaxed area. Visited some fabulous restaurants and bars. The beach is great and clean. The people most welcoming and kind. Will definitely go back.

Small beach with tons of umbrellas and restaurants. Hardly private, but okay with kids. May be your thing, but not mine. Would recommend other beaches.

Sorry I can't answer your query but might I suggest you speak with the lifeguards or watersport people whilst you are there. Any of the locals will do all they can to accommodate the tourists so please ask around.

As far as I know there is not. Unlike the other responder I am not a big fan of the Lagos market. In terms of the freshest produce the best market is in Alvor on Sunday mornings. Alvor is another 20 minutes east of Lagos.

I don't think so. I have been many times and can't say that I have seen anywhere advising that option. Lagos is a much bigger town so probably have more chance there.
