Sunrise beach is a beautiful bay with a crystal clear sea with fantastic colors.
It is equipped with sunbeds, but be careful that the part further down towards the mountain, is very expensive or the cost for 2 sunbeds is 20 euros.
Recommendation to stop in the first part where the sunbeds are arranged slightly further from the sea but cost half '. To understand what they are just read on the umbrella the plaque with the name.
The sea, even on days when the north wind blows, remains quite sheltered from the waves allowing you to spend pleasantly your time.
Behind the bay there is an Italian restaurant/bar called Basilico that displays honest prices.
This beach is among the best visited

Small hidden gem that can be reached either via the water (over the sidewalk where the restaurants stop), or take the road over.
You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas; but you can easily lie on the stone beach. The rocks are smaller here than on the Kokkari beach.
There is nice peace and quiet, and you can eat lunch at the restaurant up the road.

Hey there! I went with my friends here and I loved it. It’s a quiet little beach with pebbles. You’ll need your water shoes to get here crossing the shore and passing the cliff because I almost broke my flip flops. In front of the sea there are the free spots for those who come here with their umbrellas and their drinks. In second row up you have the comfy sunbeds and the straw umbrellas of the beach bar. He is very passionate of his business. They make great food and drinks. The place is well taking care of...toilets are always clean, service is fast, staff is young and friendly.

Very sad that this beautiful beach has the worst service in town. They charge you 10 euros per person which is more than twice in other and also wonderful beaches. The guy is very rude and when i wanted to change my sunbed (because the sun has moved and i was under naked sun) he told me i am not “allowed” to do that?! All the beds were free but i wasnt “allowed”! Of course i didnt listen to him and changed my bed but this person should not be “allowed” to run that place and treat people this way.

This is a beach on a cove east of Kokkari. It is convenient to travelers staying in hotels or apartment there but I cannot see it as a destination place. The beach is close to an ugly power plant, is rocky and somehow uninviting. The alternatives are far superior. You can swim on the little harbor at the west end of Kokkari where the water is always calm, the next long beach or, walkinf half an hour you can reach Lemonakia>

The beach is only a 5 min walk from the very last terrace of Kokkari. Take the small bridge at the end of the bay and you'll be there. You als can go there by road.
There is a new tavern and bar. The bar arranges the sunbeds (2 beds 5 euro) and serves drinks and some salads. The tavern is about 30 steps higher. We had a fine lunch with sardines overthere. The beach and water are stoney and there's basic place to dress up. Shower too. Very nice beach!

Lovely beach , relaxing sunbeds and not crowded although all beds taken.
This beach has a charge of 7 Euro for two beds and umbrellas, great value.
I feel though that they are missing a trick here or that they just can’t be bothered.
Most of the beaches throughout Samos are by bars / tavernas in which one is expected to purchase drinks in order to not have to pay for your beds.
We came across a few where one had to pay, not a problem , but the service to your bed was excellent.
Here one has to queue at the bar sometimes with extensive queues.
No service , in my opinion , pretty lazy and poor in comparison to other beach services.

This beach is very close to Kokkari and you can have the feeling to be alone sometimes.
The view is excellent and the water clear.

This beach of pebbles is set apart from the main village amenities and therefore pleasantly quiet. It's overlooked by the Sunrise Hotel. There are no sunbeds or other facilities, but it's only a few hundred yards to the main village area.
