Amazing views, crystal clear water. If you are in the area - don't miss it. You need a proper off-road car to get there. Or get a jeep safari (like a taxi service) that runs from Baths of Aphrodite to Fontana Amoroza and Blue Lagoon.

We stumbled across this beauty when we hired an off road buggy, come over the hill down some very steep bumpy roads and there is was, all I can say is wow!! It's very remote, the colours in the sea are stunning! Need an off road vehicle to get here or go ob a boat trip to the blue lagoon as it is also know as. A must do make sure you bring your camera and a swim suit.

Fontana Amorosa is one of the remote beaches that are absolutely beautiful, without many tourists (except those who come with the boat trips). Is very close to Blue Lagoon and about 6 km away from the Baths of Aphrodite. The water is very clear and the landscape is beautiful.

We went to the "Fontana Amorosa" with the expectation to see an amazing place. Truth be told, the scenery is breathtaking but so is the filth and rubbish lying all over the beach. We had a 4x4 and the drive was rather hectic but nothing that a 4x4 cannot handle, however the roads are utterly narrow in the most dangerous places and once there is incoming traffic it's time to hold on and pray that you don't go down the cliff in the effort of missing the other car. The beach we (eventually) stopped at was not so far away from "Blue Lagoon" and it was terrible. We agreed to drive back to blue lagoon but could not figure out a safe way to get down to the waters so we gave up the whole endeavour.
It has magnificent views, and probably coming by boat is a much better option, but for us it was nothing more than a mere 4x4 drive safari-style. Would not recommend taking kids with either. Bath of Aphrodite proved to be a much better recreation spot.

It's like many other beaches in Cyprus, so I have no idea, why it's so famous. The Fontana Amoroza beach is any beach actually, there is no place to sit or sunbath, etc. The water here is not very clear, so it's not so good for snorkelling either. The scenery is great, but that's it.
By the car it's hardly reachable (we did it and had a great adventure, but I can't recommend it because it's dangerous actually), but I know there are boat trips to this place.
