From start to finish the trip was amazing. I was recommended this by a group I met on my holiday as was looking for a small boat trip (I was very last minute!). Stefanos was of course popular and fully booked but he kindly put me on a waitlist and messaged me a couple of days later when a place became available! Luckily I was a solo traveller!!!
The boat left at 10.30 and straight away he started to help us get to know each other, with his own banter thrown in 😂! The other people were great, and I loved that it was such a small group, I felt very at ease and welcomed by all.
The beaches we visited were absolutely beautiful, crystal water for swimming and snorkelling, picture postcard.
Stefanos went above and beyond to help each and every one experience the trip fully, and enjoy every moment, clearly that makes him happy….”who cares, have fun, live in the moment…”☺️
The lunch….. wow!! Amazing seafood, with Stefanos explaining everything and encouraging us all to try new things!
Plenty of time for more swimming and enjoying the views, with music, good company and a little alcohol 😉!

I chose this trip on the basis of the host of excellent reviews and was not disappointed in any way. Stefanos was the perfect host and quickly turned our group of 10 independent individuals and couples into a friendly party. Myself, I was looking for some good snorkelling whilst having relaxing day sailing. Stefanos provided this in spades and though I thought I’d already seen the best the Med had to offer, one spot we visited exceeded my expectations. Breathtaking views of several islands in the Sporades group abounded though photos alone don’t convey the beauty of it all. We had a lingering lunch on board which was extraordinarily good along with sufficient drinks and informed and witty conversation led by our host. It was the best day of my holiday on Skiathos by a mile. Not my wife’s sort of thing but after waving me off she took the €2 public bus from the harbour to the monastery and thoroughly enjoyed it. Win win. Can’t recommend this trip enough. A must do, even if you’re not into snorkelling.

One of the best boat trips we have ever done! From start to finish Captain Stefanos, Xena and the deaf dog Nini made every effort to get everyone mingling with one another to build a good atmosphere. The boat itself was comfortable enough for the party of 11 people and we all got a hands on sailing lesson too. The other families we shared the trip with made the day as we all got chatting with one another and had great craic. Craig, Jen, Meg, Franky, Andy, Vicky, Luke, Joe & Jen thanks for letting your hair down especially Craig demonstrating his aquatic skills. We visited some amazing places and had what can only be described as a unique lunch experience. Worth the extra cost compared to other similar boat trips where you are packed in like sardines. “Who cares?” 😉😆😎

If you want to have a beautiful, special experience, different from any other, I wholeheartedly recommend this trip.
It will offer you something wonderful. First of all, for your soul. At least, that’s how it was for me.
I have seen places that I had only dreamed of, places of untouched beauty, beaches or pieces of island full of colour, charm, nature in all its glory. I have swum in crystal waters, that I cannot begin to describe. You must see them with your own eyes and feel with your own heart.
I tasted traditional Greek products. Stefanos prepared a delicious meal for us, a taste with a Greek touch.
But above all this, was the atmosphere. We made friends with people from all over the world, we sang, we told stories, we laughed, we enjoyed ourselves! Stefanos knows how to bring people together and make their day a dream come true!
If I ever come back to Skiathos, I will definitely repeat this experience!

I spent so long searching for the right boat trip for us in Skiathos and after reading so many reviews I decided Sail The Day sounded the best for us. What a trip! It was absolutely incredible from start to finish, the snorkelling stops are breathtaking, Captain Stefanos is just fabulous. Encouraging everybody to have a snorkel and see the wonderful sea life, teaching how to snorkel and sail the boat, alongside making everybody laugh throughout the whole day. The food, the atmosphere and the people made the trip a real experience and incredible day out. I will not hesitate about booking this trip again and will recommend to everybody I know coming to Skiathos. ⛵️

We had the best day of our Skiathos vacation on Stefanos and Nini's boat. Beautiful snorkeling places, great food with some nice surprises too, all ending with a beautiful sunset and a mini-party on the return to the port. Stefanos is very entertaining, but apart making sure that everyone has a good time, he also makes sure that everyone is safe on board.
Definitely recommend this experience, it is one that will surely stay in our hearts and memories for a very long time!

Fantastic day from start to finish. Stefanos was such a fabulous host and made sure we all had the perfect sailing experience. Stopped off at some scenic spots for swimming and snorkelling, had some amazing food, freshly prepared and cooked by Stefanos, watched a beautiful sunset while out at sea, met some lovley people and would highly recommend this sailing adventure. Thank you once again.

Wow, such an amazing day! Stefanos was a very entertaining host, snorkelling was fab, food was amazing and sailing the boat was an experience we’ll remember for a long time. Our ship mates were strangers at the start of the day but friends by the end of it. If you are looking to do a boat trip I can’t recommend this one enough…thank you Stefanos!

We had a fabulous day sailing around Skiathos and Skopelos. Stefanos is a superb host, providing great food as well as a great sense of humour. He was a natural in making a group of 10 strangers feel at ease with one another and went out of his way to ensure our kids (aged 13 & 9) were included in everything, including steering the boat! The places we stopped for swimming and snorkelling were lovely and we didn’t feel rushed at all - we left port at 10.30am and didn’t return until 7.30pm. If you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water with great company then look no further.

If you are looking for an incredible sailing day out with family and/or friends then Stefanos is the Captain for you!
We were a group of 2 families, with 4 children aged between 8 and 11, every single person said that something that happened during the trip was the best part of the holiday.
We toured around 4 islands, we stopped in very quiet private beaches and areas to swim, snorkel, float or stay on the boat sunbathing. It really was an area of outstanding natural beauty, the waters are crystal clear and shorelines stunning.
The boat is very comfortable, Captain Stephanos has a great manner with children and adults alike, the scenery is spectacular and the food and lemonade exceptional...
If you truly want a magical sailing trip then please get in contact with Stefanos, you will not be disappointed!
We cannot wait to join him next year when we revisit the island.

We paid €75 (but have a tip because the day was so fabulous) but it was worth every cent, and more. So much better than paying to be a ship with 40/50 people all vying for space with no personal touch. I think Stefanos sails every day. I emailed him directly from his website then booked via WhatsApp. He doesn’t advertise in the harbour as he doesn’t need to. He works purely on recommendation and reviews. Please go and sail with Stefanos - you won’t regret it and will come away with a lifetime of memories!
