I was on my way to Pythogoras Cave when i met a small group of people including Giorgos, the guide. I joined the group and i dont regreat it at all. Giorgos showed me and the group around, we went in to the caves and even climbed up to the cave where Pythogoras lived. Giorgos was at same time giving information about the places and the caves we went in to, that made the tour even more special. I would recommend Samos Outdoors to everybody. Dont miss it!

We liked the climate on Samos. High temperature, very low humidity and enough wind. I liked the fact that this is not a very tourist island. The beaches are not crowded with people, you can always find a place. Two sun beds cost only 5 euros. We lived in apartments. We ate at home, went to a cafe and restaurant a couple of times. Do not expect high culinary heights there, pretty simple Greek food. The locals are quite friendly, unobtrusive, which is very nice. We took a sightseeing tour of the island. We did not hire a car for 7 days because it made no sense to us. We would recommend it for those who want to travel around the whole island themselves, since the infrastructure is poorly developed.

We were hiking to the cave-church and monastery of Kakoperato. We were picked up at our hotel in Pythagorion. On our way to the starting point, we stoppes at several viewpoints and to buy honney, we Even spotted a jakal on the roadside. Georgios was a perfect guide, telling about the flora, fauna and history of Samos. The hike was in our pace and we stoppes for taking photos, and got to know the history and learned about the herbs, flowers and trees we encountered. The hikingpath was maintained and cared during our walk. The hike ended at the taverna in the village, and had a great view to the see and city below. The taverna served excelent greek food, and took good care of their guests.

A unique experience exploring the island of Samos. George is an excellent guide. He knows the trails and can help you connect with the island's culture and history along with the hiking. I highly recommend "Samos Outdoors" if you would like to explore the island's hiking trails.

We did the private tour and it was great! My mother and I can’t drive so it was a perfect solution for us. Giorgos knows a lot about Samos and can tell you all the ins and outs that you need to know. If you want to see the most well known places of the island, then I highly recommend this tour!

We did the sunset safari and it was just great. We spend some time in a small village and after we drove up the mountain by car.
Our guide Giorgos was telling a lot history and nice things to know about the island, which made the trip even better. Definitely recommend!

Hike to the top of Kerkis, a private trip so just me and the guide Giorgos.
Beautiful walk in a nice pace. Stops along the way with fresh fruit from Giorgos’ garden. A lot of interesting information along the way, on the nature, the history and the language and names of things in Samos.
Reaching the top of the mountain and spending some time there was one of those experiences I will carry with me and remember always!

I have known Samos Outdoors from the day it began. I have been both the visitor on a tour and the business partner with this agency. Everything about them is professional and business-minded with the client's best interest at heart. Giorgos has always been involved in finding new ways to connect the people who visit Samos with the island creating memorable and tailored experiences.

Since I found out that Samos is an island of great hidden beaty I started to look for a local guide to see more of it. I was recommended Giorgos and Yannis as the best people to trust in the mountains. As we were to take kids and teenagers with us, we needed moderate tour with few attractive stops for everyone. We reached beautiful places in the top of the island, saw the sea views from there, visited hidden villages, rested under the oldest trees and had a real Greek lunch in the small local restaurant in Nikoloudes. We have climbed to the little monastir where the path leads through quite difficult rocks (especially for kids). All the way we feld very secure and treated with the greatest attention. Giorgos and Yannis are both professional guides with knowledge of the island secrets and also people of passion and great understanding of the nature. For sure I will be back there one day...

Giorgos and I left Pandrosso village at 5.30 a.m. In the beginning he explained to me the whole hiking route. The wooden path was cleaned up and fixed last winter/spring by Giorgos and his enthusiastic team. The rising morning was beautiful, the views were spectacular. We met hundreds of goats with their kind shepherd. I saw a black pine tree for the first time. We reached the top of Karvounis mountain (1153 m) after 1h 40m hike. The views were awesome: Mt. Kerkis (1440 m) on the West, Samos town, Mykali region and Turkey on the East, neighbouring island (Agathonissi, Patmos, Fourni and Ikaria on the South-West ... After taking photos and having some snacks we returned to Pandrosso village. The morning hike spent with Giorgos was unforgettable. He showed and explained me so many interesting things and facts, and took care of me since I am 65. He is an expert in what he is doing and I highly recommend him to anybody who wants to explore this magic island.
P.S. We have already made plans for next year hike.
