Great time with professionals out in the bay. One to one coaching on our first scuba experience made it very easy to enjoy the sea life. Staff are great, friendly, helpful, explaining, no trouble diving even with some anxious people. Enjoyed it with two teens who are just asking to re-do it. Absolutely worth the time & money.

Contrary to the previous reviewer I found Torra extremely friendly. I had been emailing centres prior to leaving home to see which ones would still be open in November and Torra replied very enthusiatically.
It's a small niggle that they don't take cards, and I only just had enough cash but no big deal. Kitting up in the water was a little unusual, my 15 yr old step daughter had never done it before but as the guide said there's always a first time, new skill learned ! A big plus for me was that weights were on the boat saving on lugging kit around.
Overall the diving was very well organised, the boats modern and well equiped and the staff good humoured especially as it was the end of the season. The dive was enjoyable even if not exciting, nice site and great conditions. I find more and more centres these days relying on check dives rather than checking qualifications. With Padi, certification is had far too easily and doesn't really prove much so I don't blame them.
Great dive centre, we'll go back ! :-D

I'm a Diving Instructor with both SSI and PADI and recently Manager of a Water Sports Centre for an International Five Star Hotel chain. Not bragging but it's pertinent.
Congratulations to Gille the owner, Alix my guide for the day, Caroline and all the other staff for making this a memorable dive for me. Actually this was the first time in a great many years that I have actually paid to go diving rather than being paid.
I felt completely at home at Torra Plongee, all the staff were helpful, polite and fun to be with. The equipment was in exceptional condition and the layout and running of he operation very efficient.
Having worked extensivley in Malaysia and Philippines I didn't have high hopes for the dive but was extremely pleasantly surprised. We saw three large Stingrays, a huge school of Baracuda, a big ugy Stone Fish and loads of other stuff. I hung out for a while with the team after the dive and was made to feel completely at home
I will definitely be going back and, though reluctant to pay to go diving, will be doing more diving with these guys. Thank you all, see ya soon. X

We arrived at the centre whilst in corsica on the previously day to the day we wanted to dive and told to be at the centre for 9:30 the following morning. We nearly didn't return after the almost continual ribbing from one of the instructors about our English accents.
The following day we arrived to do paperwork before diving but they didn't want to know, they didn't even check to see if we were qualified or what qualification we had, they just wanted us out and in the water. The technique they use of getting into the water from the boat seemed very strange and fraught with risk, so we refused to do it the way they wanted and got fully kitted and then performed a roll-back into the water.
Enjoyed the dives and the kit to be honest was very good quality. The real down side was when we came to pay as they wouldn't take cards and insisted on cash which very annoyingly cleaned us out. In short I would not recommend the centre for the inexperienced and make sure you have enough cash..

We have been on Corsica for a week and did one dive with torra plongee to get an idea how the diving on Corsica is.
The divesite we have been was very nice. Good visibility a lot of fish and also some huge nudy- branches. It was very cold but manageable (15 Degrees) for a 50min dive.
On the negative side was that it took a veery long time from arrival at the shop until everyone was ready (approx one hour). Usually half an hour is plenty of time to get 2 groups of 8 divers ready. It seemed a bit unorganized.
English is not the preferred language, so be prepared to use a mixture of french and english on your side.
Never the less we will come back when the sea is warmer or we can take our dry suits with us :-)
