Local friends, from Lyngby, took us to this beautiful spot in Greater Copenhagen overlooking Lake Bagsværd. Our schedule was a bit tight but one cannot imagine a stroll around the lake without Coffee and Cake in Sophienholm Cafeteria

I usually come to this place in the winter. The long hill down to the lake makes for a great day of sledging. There is a small cafe nearby, where you can grab a cup of coffee or something small to eat
