It was to cold for us to go swimming, but the beach is beautiful, I wouldn't want to try to drive there in the summer, road was very narrow

Follow the winding road (and avoid the sheep) to a sandy crescent set back from the sea. There are no amenities, so bring whatever you need and enjoy the beauty.

This beach, with its clear blue water and golden sand is a must see for everyone visiting Gialova. Please note there are no umbrellas and there is no shop or restaurant near the beach. So bring everything you need!

A perfect curving sandy beach with turquoise tranquil water, almost enclosed by mountains. it is a bit hard to find as Greek signage leaves much to be desired .The road is very narrow and gravel with pot holes . In May there were few people about but it must be a bit difficult to get there in busier times.

If you are around this area it's a pity not to have a swim there. It's quite secluded (~30-40min drive from calamata) so there are not a lot of people, at least in April. It's crystal clear and sandy and is surrounded by cliffs; it's like a small natural harbor. It's very good for kids, couples and nature lovers due... More

By far one of the top 3 best beaches in the Peloponnese! I've been all over the Peloponnese and this beach was one of the nicest I have ever been to. The water is Chrystal clear and fairly warm because it is in a cove. It is a sandy beach surrounded by rocky cliffs. It is not deep unless you... More

One of the most photographed beaches in Greece - the horseshoe beach. A must if visiting the area. Crystal clear waters, beautiful sandy beach. Make sure to take water with you and umbrella if you plan to go midday and stay for longer than a swim. It is within a protected area and, thankfully, there is nothing there asides the... More

This beach is totally awesome. so nice no one arouind and nature at its best. Also if one wants you can go for a hike up to a tower and have fantastic views. on the other hand one can go and cycle around the lagoon which lies directly behind the beach will take you around 30-45 min.
