We went late afternoon and then walked up the hill for a sunset pic nic (which was lovely) arranged by the hotel. The beach is a horseshoe bay and very shallow so not dangerous and a good way to have fun in the 'sea'. However it is VERY crowded during high season and we heard tales of traffic jams and... More

This is a sandy beach and very popular so it can get quite crowded. The water can be quite dirty depending on how the wind blows. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas. There are two canteens with refreshments and light snacks about 500 meters from the beach. During July and August parking is not easy due to the many visitors.

Clean waters , beautiful scenery, sandy beach. There is nothing nearby so be sure you have water and everything you need.

Honestly compared to the efford needed to reach the beach it does not worth it. Firstly, you can find similar waters and sand in other, more easily reached beached in south west Peloponnise. It was over crowed and in the evening the waters became a bit dirty. I would not go again.

This is a fascinating natural harbour of beautiful sand and clear water. However there is no shade and it is very heavily populated in August. So see it and go if you have young kids. I would imagine it is well worth a long visit in spring or autumn especially during bird migrations.

After looking into the best beaches to visit in the area we came across voidokilia and decided to give it a go! We got there to be very disappointed with it. Although the pictures on the internet looked amazing it was very standard and nothing special. As it was a natural beach there was no offering of sun loungers or... More

We visited on a Sunday (locals day) and it was so busy. Disappointing in that there was litter around and the sea was more akin to the Atlantic that rolls in where I live than the serenity of the Caribbean! I guess the wind was whipping up the swell so we didn't see the beach /sea at its best. A... More
