booked at last minute holiday to zante when our planned trip to see family in America was cancelled due to covid. we had a great time and will definitely be back. The people were so friendly and welcoming, the place even in the strip was very clean and the restaurants were the best we have had on holidays and we do like to travel. We felt very safe with hand sanitiser everywhere and tables in restaurants for the most were distanced.

excellent value for money when eating out special mention to the olive tree where we had dinner on my birthday the food and ambiance is amazing and a very special mention to calypso restaurant who has the most amazing food and service.

Lovely sandy beach which was shallow and gently sloping perfect for young children . We were at the harbour end which was very well sheltered with very little waves even if the rest of the beach was choppy. Can recommend the Al mare Hotel as you can hire their sun beds with acces to the swimming pool etc for €7

Short walk from Tsilivi town and lots of bars with sun beds for hire. Price varies drastically we paid €25 for 2 beds but saw €7. Quite messy and untidy looking and lots of stones and rocks as you enter. Very clear and shallow so great for families with toddlers. Life guards and changing rooms.

We went around a few beaches in the week we came and spent more of our time here. Definitely a great beach for families but also friends and couples. There is a good stretch of beach so that although quite busy it’s spread out and room for everyone.
There are a few stones as you get into the water in parts but can navigate your way easily and then be ankle deep for a good way out.

We paid for the beds down with the American (hope we got that right) couple. They were super friendly and it was €8 a day which compared to some other offerings was not badly priced.

Great beach clean and tidy and lovely water

We had an amazing holiday. The hotel provided tea and coffee but not milk which would be an added bonus but we bought some from tge shop for under £2 so no big deal really. The staff were friendly and hard working. Our room was beautifully roomy, modern and clean. There is a kids club for the little ones. The food is great with several choices hot and cold. Activities also available for the adult's to join in with too. There are lots of comfortable sun loungers around the perimoter of the pool areas and also overlooking the beach on the Tiled deck area. The beach is simply stunning and the water clean. Stunning..

I visited this place at the turn of September and October. The weather was still fantastic, the water was warm, definitely less tourists, which allowed for full relaxation. The beach is sandy and gently slop into the water. In many places when entering the water you will encounter a little bit of stones, but as soon as you pass them under your feet there will be only a very nice sand.
In many places on the beach there are sun beds available (for an additional fee) but you can also find a place to lie down on your own towel. You can easily get something to eat and drink in the numerous bars located along the beach as well as enjoy water sports.
Worth a visit

This beach is sand with some pebbles into the water. It’s not very wide but is fairly long and didn’t feel overcrowded to us even on a weekend. It shelves gently into the sea, which is really clear and excellent for swimming and for children. It can get more ‘wavey’ as the wind picks up in the afternoon but that made it more fun. There are plenty of beds and brollies. We paid €8 for 2 beds and an umbrella and €20 for a cabana. There are good beach bars and a nice atmosphere with music playing. There are lots of water activities on offer. Where we sat, Venus Beach Club, had showers, loos and changing areas. It was a mixture of couples and families. We really enjoyed ourselves (family with older teens). Get there before 11am if you are driving and want to park close. It is next to Tsilivi centre so there are other shops and bars within walking distance.

All the area is high touristic and crowded even in October. Many streets that make it difficult and complicated to reach the beach. Not so many parking spots which makes it even more difficult.
The beach itself is not something so amazing as many people mention. Is a typical beach full of beach bars and hotel who cover with sunbeds all the area.
We didnt swim since it was October and a little bit cold for us. We just sat on a beach bar in which we had drinks only.
Overall not something special

The beach was accessible from our hotel. It is a bit stoney near shore but fine further in. Water temperature was fine. There is no tide to speak of so water is always only a few feet from your sunbed. You can go a long way out before getting out of your depth and with the lack of tide felt very safe.

A narrow beach and lots of stones as you go in the sea so I'd recommend swim shoes.

Shallow sea so safe for children and plenty of water sport options. Was up to my waist 100 meters out.

You can walk along past the port where I think you can hire boats and arrange boat trips and also walk up to the Venetian fort on the hill.

15 Euros for 4 beds and 2 parasols wasn't too bad with decent Wi-Fi.

There were other more expensive options we didn't use.

A fairly average beach but I guess worth a trip during your holiday.
