Good sandy beach with shallow waters ideal for the not too confident swimmer. Plenty of sunbeds though you will have to pay for the majority of them, backed by 4 or more beach bars/taverna's. Locals and tourists can park on the beach for ease of access though I personally could of had issues with some quad bike customers driving their hired bikes all over the beach, supposedly not allowed. Due to the time of year of our visit September I have never experienced so many wasps, an absolute pest, be aware, take the bite/sting anointment.

Lovely vast expanse of beach, with multiple sun beds to choose from, or just take a space on the beach with your towel. Either option you won’t feel overcrowded. Great water sports options, and boat hire available. Clear waters and usually a lovely breeze

Long sandy beach with plenty of space, either on loungers on straight on the sand. Clean beach and water. Makes a nice contrast to the small, rocky coves elsewhere on the island.

Saturday 21st August and we visited this beach which is located on the Northwestern coast of the Island.

We parked up in a car park on the headland and we made our way down the steps to the Beach.

The beach is situated in a picturesque bay which is enclosed by a rocky headland at both ends. The large stretch of golden sand is washed by the shallow crystal waters.

There were neat rows of sunbeds and umbrellas all well spaced apart, for hire, €6 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella which included free large bottle of water.

There were a number of bars/restaurants along the back of the beach.

There were also large parts of beach that were unspoilt, with wild grass growing through the sand, where visitors spread out towels and beach mats and enjoy this lovely beach.

When we visited here it was a bit windy this appears to be the norm along this coast.

It’s not very well signposted so check your map constantly! They are charging for su beds now, but there’s loads of space to set up your own camp. Jetski was too expensive for me at 45euro for 20 mins. Sun beds range from 6 euro to 7.5 euros dependant on where you are. Nice restaurants on the front but we went to Arillas for lunch (also really nice beach). Both Sandy and shallow.

Loved the beach, it’s a super long beach therefore there’s plenty of space to have your own space without being too close to strangers. If you keep walking to the right (north side) and just keep on walking and passing some rocks etc you get to the nudist part where you can enjoy the beach nude and there’s plenty of clay to give yourself a quick treatment.

Very clear water and very picturesque, highly recommend, especially to naturists.

Its an amazing beach long and sandy and shelves gently out into the sea. Water sports are available, but they are never intrusive to the bathers. Would highly recommend a visit for your holiday.

My wife and myself are holidaying at Agios Stefanos and the beach is only a short distance from our favourite Hotel (Delfino Blu - Review to follow) and - as such - we make good use of it for sunbathing, swimming and walking.

Most of it is as lovely as ever (ie in my previous Reviews I rate this as one of the best beaches on the island) but the ‘Public Beach’ end (ie nearest to the town and well away from the more remote ‘Nudist Beach’ area) unfortunately attracts a considerable amount of seaweed making it most unattractive.

In previous years the excess/unwanted seaweed has been removed on a daily basis but - perhaps due to budgetary constraints brought about by the ongoing COVID pandemic - this practice has lapsed. Hopefully not for too much longer but -that aside - the rest of the beach is most user-friendly and I would strongly recommend it to locals and visitors alike.
