We started our day with a train trip to the city of Tequila. We visited La Rojena and got a tour of the place and got to know the process of making tequila. This was an all day experience from nine in the morning to 7 PM. It was very fun and informative. We highly recommend it for people of... More

This is VERY touristy and usually super busy on nice days and weekends. My recommendation is to skip it and tour Casa Sauza instead! If you're stuck on this place, the perks are the number of tasters you get. The facility is pretty with some good information and history. It's definitley worth purchasing the high-end bottles in the gift shop,... More

Tour was excellent - I got help and assistance in English and basically got good answers to all my questions made. We didn't go for the field tour but visited the distillery and gardens. History of this producer was nicely presented with the video that had English subtitles. Process was extremely interesting and we were presented and allowed to taste... More

Visited this place as part of a tour. Wasn't disappointed. Found out about the making of Tequila, the history of the product and a thoroughly enjoyable and informative tasting session.

I went with my girlfriend for the factory tour and tequila tasting. Everything was very good and we ended up a bit tipsy. We paid 20 USD for tour and tequila tasting.

I was part of the Jose Cuervo Express tour and visited La Rojena factory last week. I really liked it and definitely recommend to pay a visit if you are in Tequila. However, I found the group size visiting the facilities that particular day was very large. I mean, the tour is organised in a way to break down the... More

Having over 50 tequila's in my collection, we drove 5 hours to the promised land from PV. Stayed at the Hotel Solar de Las Animas - which was perfect! This tour was very interesting and I learned a lot. Don't care for any of their tequilas but the process, although obviously massively commercial, is still based on the old ways.... More

This place has the best tour for Tequila at the Casa Cuervo factory, a must when in town! Very well organized and includes some Tequila testing. The building is beautiful!

It was an Adult Tequila Disneyland. We took the cheap, "blue" tour at roughly 12 dollars. There were different tours for different budgets or preferences, from " factory tour and Tequila tasting" to a full-on tour of the factory AND agave fields to a tour on the José Cuervo Express. The blue tour included three or four tastings, from the... More

We took a side trip from Guadalajara to Tequila to visit theJose Cuervo distillery. We signed up for the Jose Cuervo level tour which is one step above the basic tour. I knew tequila comes from the agave plant but didn't know that it is processed from that gigantic pineapple looking root ball. We were shown the step by step... More
