We joined the Narvik Day Tour and it was extremely disappointing. The view was okay and the tour guide provided almost no information for the site. His introduction was rough and he speak in a very small voice. He seems upset and tired. The fish market is small and one of the site is a shopping mall. There is only... More

Tim was our guide on a snowshoe hike and an ice fishing experience. On both occasions he was superb! Very informative about the history, culture and wildlife and of course the Aurora Borealis which duly appeared while on the snowshoe hike, our first night. The snowshoe hike was challenging but well worth the effort in the company of an expert... More

Tim took a group of us on a snowshoe walk up to a viewing point (9 Jan). On the way he told us interesting facts & when we arrived made a fire. We were so lucky! The Aurora was on form, a clearly visible arc. Tim took a photo of each couple with the Aurora in the background, he emailed... More

Tim was a great guide for us on our first morning in Abisko! The snowshoe hike was a perfect way to be introduced to the trails surrounding Abisko and to learn about the history, wildlife, and culture in the area. He took us to a couple gorgeous viewpoints, and overall the hike lasted about 3 hours! We really felt like... More

We were competently guided by Tim on two excursions. The first one was a 45 min hike with Tim and his beautiful dog up a hill overlooking Torneträsk lake to await some aurora activity. He provided us with lots of interesting information on the way and made a small wood fire at the top for us to sit around. When... More

Ice Climbing……….. The cost is 775 sek per person at the time of writing (about $90 USD). What Tim doesn’t say on his site is that he takes groups up to 6 people (normally for climbing you don’t want more than 2-3 people since that will really limit the amount of climbing). His site also says that he takes you... More

I'm sorry that you didn't feel that the Ice climbing was worth the money. I got a few minutes delayed because the first guest I was picking up was a little delayed. I value your feedback and I will see If I can alter the description of the ice climbing to make it more clear. In the 3 years I've... More

Tim took us ice fishing, snow shoe walking and then slotted us in for ice climbing (which we really appreciated). He knows the area like the back of his hand and clearly loves what he does. My girlfriend also wanted to take his beautiful Samoyed dog back to Aus. No matter what the activity or your skill level, Tim will... More

Tim is a wonderful guide. So friendly and knows so much about the area. We did a few things with him. I would particularly recommend the night time aurora trek (do it the first night you are there to get all the info and lay of the land), and the ice climbing which was really fun! He also has such... We really liked the ice climbing! Tim is very nice and gave detailed climbing instructions. He also told us some interesting stories about the area.
