Wonderful experience, with Peter being the most arranging and interesting guide you could wish for. Flexibility was key for us to see the NorthernLights and he made it possible for us to see them when a lot of other groups failed to do it same day. He will teach you a lot about culture, landscapes and photography. All the tours he booked were above expectation and accommodation + food were perfect. Would highly recommend his tours

He was our snow angel in disguise! :P We spontaneously planned this tour with him and he made sure we went back to the best moments. It was my first experience with the northern lights and I can't think of a better guide other than Peter. He taught us the best photography practices for capturing the aurora and made sure we practice it and click some good pictures. He was patient with us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend him as a guide to anyone who even isn't a beginner in photography!

Our main intention was to see the Aurora Borealis but the tour with Peter Rosen far exceeded our expectations on so many levels and gave our family a dream holiday of a lifetime. Peter specialises in small groups with a maximum of 7 to 8. We went as a family of 6 and he kindly reserved the group exclusively for us so we had him all to ourselves! Peter Rosen is the key to this dream holiday. His attention to detail, his caring for the welfare of everyone, his knowledge of the area, and knowing where the alternative sites to go if a change of weather didn’t permit his original plans. Peter monitored the Aurora forecast with his high tech app and had a plan every night to travel where the visibility was best. Everything was perfect and done with safety. All 3 meals provided everyday were plentiful, delicious and specially prepared with diet considerations. Peter carefully planned every detail of the trip to ensure that we maximized our experiences in all the beauty that Abisko and Kiruna had to offer. We woke up every morning with great excitement, knowing Peter had prepared a new and delightful experience for us! Our favourite was the day and night dog sled! We also experienced the local indigenous Sami culture and had lunch in a lavvu (teepee), drove our own reindeer sled, moose spotting (saw 23 in one day, a record number according to Peter), had fun in an outdoor jacuzzi in minus zero freezing temperature, a visit to the incredible Ice Hotel and 2 very special unplanned encounters where we saw an ice climber on a frozen waterfall and said hello to a local resident who was soaking in a hole dug into the frozen lake!!!! And of course the star event .... chasing the Northern Lights ! So thankful we saw it on 4 of our 5 nights! Not once did we run into any other aurora hunters because Peter took us to remote and secret places only known to him. Peter’s van was packed with all the needed camera equipment which he provided to everyone (Various lenses, cameras, tripods, SD cards and spare batteries). We were astounded by the expansive cameras he entrusted to us, especially the telescopic ones for moose spotting! I was a beginner with digital SLR cameras and he was extremely patient with me. Instead of just shooting at the Aurora in the night sky, Peter always prepared a beautiful composition for our photos by organizing a lavvu with a crackling fire or a river setting or placing the dog sled in the foreground. He also invited us to his house in Abisko where he showed us how to edit the photos we had taken. When the Aurora appeared later that night, we dropped everything and my son and daughter-in-law climbed his roof to take photos of the lights in the sky whilst some of us took photos from his balcony. His dedication to everybody’s happiness is admirable. Listening to Peter, you are awe struck by his knowledge, passion and love for this land and especially photography. He has been contracted to produce 2 tourism films to promote the Swedish Arctic Lapland which he showed us when we were at his house and has published 2 photographic books , the third one is on its way. Peter, who was previously a research environment and climate scientist, is now a full-time photographer running a successful aurora tour business. Yet with all these accolades , he is such a humble man with a very generous heart, always soft spoken with a kind and gentle manner. Don’t go by yourselves, you’ll be lost and don’t join other tour companies with big groups otherwise you’ll regret it , just book it with Peter , it will be one of the most amazing, magical and beautiful experiences of your life. Thank you so much Peter!

I've just come back from a 6 day tour with Peter Rosen and it was seriously an awesome trip filled with ticking off many bucket list items. We went dog sledding, reindeer sledding, saw the aurora lights, ice hotel and more! Peter is also very well known in the places we visited and you could tell from the way people treated our group. I'm also into photography and Peter gave our group of six people a camera each and also had some serious lenses and camera bodies in his kit for those that wanted it. Even though I've been into photography for over a decade, I still learnt a lot from Peter who is a professional photographer. But if you're not confident in photography but still interested, he's also a good teacher and very patient. For the photographers out there he had wide lenses for landscape pics and tele-lenses for animals. Overall, I'm really happy with the photos I took on the tour because of Peter's help! He was also a biologist previously, so he's very knowledgable and passionate about the animals and nature. Very educational! We were also introduced to the indigenous Sami people which I knew very little of before but was an enlightening experience hearing their history. The different accomodation we had was also very good and had no problems with it. Also while dog sledding at night, I accidentally forgot to zip my jacket pocket and my phone had fallen out without me noticing until we arrived back at camp around midnight. I was distraught but Peter took me along the path on his ski mobile and we searched much of the night for it. We didn't find my phone in the end but I'm still appreciative of Peter after a long day that he would help me out still. Highly recommend this trip to anyone thinking about it and wish to be more out there with nature. Peter is a great tour guide and we still keep in touch even now we're home.
